CasioMen Digital Quartz Watch with Resin Strap W96H-1AV

As a total time freak from birth, I love the idea of having the complete calendar to view on my wrist. This watch was cheap as chips, which means I don't need to worry about getting mugged in the street for it, and the soft resin strap makes it lovely and comfortable to wear. (No prior struggling with difficult bracelet links either.) It's equipped with all the most useful functions as far as I'm concerned. OK, so it gains a wee bit more than half a second every million years, but I can live with accuracy to the odd second or so per day. (In my youth you considered yourself fortunate if your watch was accurate to a couple of minutes per day.) Both the day of the week and the actual time of the day are displayed on the screen in large digits that even my questionable eyesight doesn't need to strain itself to make out without the help of spectacles or a magnifying glass. In short, this was a brilliant purchase, and from my past experience of Casio watches fitted with ten-year batteries, I know I can sit back, relax and enjoy wearing this one, hassle-free, for a good long time to come. Alarm a little on the faint side, by the way, but if you own a regular alarm clock to get you out of bed in the morning, that won't trouble you over much. Postscript: The watch is proving to be even more accurate than I surmised. Mine appears to be neither gaining nor losing anything.

Ive had this for about a year. Yesterday i left it in my shorts pocket, which i put into the washing machine. It still works and it's a bit cleaner too. Great watch.

Cracking good little watch, cheap as chips. I got it for my husband, who has dementia, and struggles with day of the week, day of the month, year, etc as well as time. This watch has all the functions he needs, easily visible and easy to set up. I'm very pleased with it and so is he.And a ten year battery life ... no more expensive and inconvenient trips to the jeweller to change the battery. And even if we're both still here in ten years time, there are screws on the back! So should be a doddle to replace.Very quick product delivery.

I like that the battery should last 10 years. Even if it lasts 5 years I willbe happy with that :-)
