This is a great kids lunch box. The print is clean and the color is vivid. It’s well made and has a net pocket inside to pack napkins, utensils, or any small snacks. The liner is thick and durable. Overall great product.

This fabric lunchbox is square shaped, and of what I would call average or common total size. The outer layer is made of a fabric that feels similiar to a canvas material. It's base background color is dark blue, and has space and astronaut themed images printed ontop of that. The main interior has a liner that feels like a kind of vinyl, though I'm not entirely sure that's what it's made of. Either way, it is smooth and almost plasticy like vinyl. The main compartment of this lunchbox seals closed by means of a zipper. This zipper is made of metal, black in color. It seems to be made from medium quality metal, which was then made into a decent quality level zipper. But do be aware that the inner zipper seam is a bit bulky and can get in the way of the zipper, sometimes even snagging it.One of the three pockets has no zipper so far as I see, and is made and sewn from a mesh netting material, similiar to what can be found on sports gear. It is located on one outer side of the box. Two of the three pockets also have zippers, which are black in color, and that appear to be made of the same medium quality metal. However, do be aware that I did find a quirk with the zipper of the lid portion's pocket, causing it to be quite tricky to operate. But of course, that does not mean it will be the same way for all other lunchboxes. The other pocket is located inside the box.There is one set of buckles sewn into to top side. This can be unbuckled as desired. When buckled, it creates a sort of handle for carrying the box. Also at the same top is a set of clasp rings sewn into the fabric right next to the buckle seams. These rings are for connecting a shoulder strap, by means of clasps, of which one is included. While not strictly necessary, this strap is convenient and useful for those who prefer to use this carry method. The buckles and clasp ring sets are made of heavy plastic or similiar material, black in color.I do like the space theme of this box, and believe it likely that most youngsters would enjoy having this for a lunchbox. Wether it is used for picnics, road trips, camping, or school lunches, this box is made well enough that I do expect it to be reasonably durable over time, and under normal intended useage. This does of course depend just as much on how well it is taken care of, and if it's being handled with reasonable care.However, because of the tricky zipper, which might or might not be a common or rare ocurrance, I will minus 1 star. Therefore, 4 out of 5 stars.

I needed a new lunchbox for my son who is in preschool, and very happy with this particular product because of its quality. The zipper and handle feel pretty good and the outside zipper pocket is pretty great. The inside mesh pocket has a zipper which is better than a more expensive lunchbox I bought from my other son. The one thing I was surprised it doesn’t have is a place to write your child’s name inside the lunchbox. We ended up, writing his name across the inside area of the flap that folds, which seems to be working fine if you use a permanent marker. Excellent bag!
