Ricoh Aficio SG 3110SFNW (A4) Multifunction GelJet Printer (Print/Copy/Scan/Fax) 128MB 29ppm (Mono/Colour) 10,000 (MDC) with Wireless Network

It took a LONG time to get it working.It would not pick up the WIFI at all unless it was positioned within two feet of a router which was in our living room. (We have fibre optic broadband)We could get a signal on our phones and tablets from all over the house but this printer simply could not connect to our wifi.We recently had Sky Q installed and had 2 mini boxes installed upstairs in addition to the new router and main box. The mini boxes act as WIFI hot spots and so increase the WIFI signal around the house.Only after we had the Sky Q mini boxes installed upstairs would the printer work.As such, in hindsight, we would not buy this model again.

I was almost set on buying a colour laser whne I discovered GelJet which looked a really cool technology. The reviews on this printer are rather mixed but broadly it seems wifi is the issue and it's a bit complicated to setup.I knew I was going to use Wifi (mine is connected via cat 5) and was confident I could handle any technical issues.Having had this printer a few months I can say it's the best printer I've ever owned and works perfectly.There are however a few issues one in getting SAMBA shares to work and the other in getting CUPS to print. Amazon is funny about postin g links however if these are causing you issues google the model name and eclectic-babble there are instruction there on what you need to.

Excellent value for money and all functions work as expected, I only gave this 4 stars as it is using gel ink which is still a relatively new method of print, only time will tell if it lasts, that being said it was a good bargain for the range of functions perfect for a small office environment.

This is an incredible printer at an incredible price.... The quality of everything (print /scan / photos) is excellent & the gel inks last for ages... It does a whole bundle more than I've worked out yet - It is pretty complicated though..! It took quite a bit of setting up and I have to refer to the manual frequently as it's not massively user friendly... But totally worth it if you've got the patience to work through the manual.

Utter rubbish. After a couple of hours of moving the thing round the house it finally connected with the router. When I try to connect my laptop to the printer it says which drivers do you want to download and gives you 2 pages of choices. The manual is terrible, does anyone know how to print from a USB stick, just gibberish. But a Hewlett Packard, plug and go

Extremely difficult to set up - you need to be an IT professional! Still after a week have not been able to configure it and I am generally good at this and tech literate! (I have a Mac and no I do not have a cd drive - who has them these days). Documentation also user unfriendly including the manuals downloaded from the internet!

Excellent value for money does what it says in the tin. Not used it much so far but have used it enough to see it will prove to be a good buy.

Not easy to set up especially with the WiFi. IP address and MAC address... Who needs all that when you want to connect your printer to your home WiFi. Even Ricoh technical support could not help. I returned the product after 1 week.
