Purchased for my 2.5 year old nephew who always wants to be part of art projects, particularly any project that includes “tools”.I bought these so he could cut paper without being watched like a hawk- these are just hard plastic small scissors and very safe- really unlikely to cause any more injury than any other hard plastic toy.I have to say, he was underwhelmed when he first got these, and was probably hoping for a toy. *But* he definitely warmed up to the gift, and now enjoys cutting paper, sometimes into shapes, and sometimes just to cut things up.The little graphic paper that comes with the set is very cute, and we enjoy adding our own cartoons to the illustrations.

I bought these to practice cutting with my toddlers. They work really well with paper and are good for their find motor skills. I’m glad that they can only be used for paper and cut nothing else

Purchased these to help my 3 year old practice cutting with scissors. These scissors only work half the time. They routinely bend and tear the paper rather than cut. It makes learning to cut a bit difficult for the toddler. Probably would not buy again or recommend to a friend.
