LitterLocker by Litter Genie XL-refill

Before I bought the genie litter box, I used to dump my cats (I have 2 adult cats) litter in a separate bin with a black bin bag. It used to smell so bad and I used to waste money on black bin bags. Also regularly washing the bin to get rid of the smell.I’ve now been using genie locker for 7 months. My first cartridge bag only ran out yesterday. I am stunned in how long this lasted me for 2 cats who are indoor cats also. I bought this extra cartridge 1 month after I bought the box itself because I was worried it will run out quick due to seeing people’s reviews. But to last me 6months+, this means I spend £9 every 6 months on a new cartridge which is great value for money! I’m delighted with this.To make it better, the bag is super durable and smell proof. Nobody can smell the cat litter when I dispose it, it’s so easy to dispose when each one is full and it’s super easy to get ready the new bag set using the same cartridge.I highly recommend this product to cat owners. It’s a life saver.

This makes it so much easier than using white bin bags that smell even when tied and put in my small pedal bin...purchased the litter bin for this at the same time and it keeps the smells in the bin too. . One tip? ..when knotting the blue plastic to start it off as a bag on the bin, pull out the knot you've made horizontally towards you and pull out a bit more than you think you'll need. When shutting the bin then, open the lid and put a rubber - gloved hand and arm inside the blue bag you've made to push it down to reach the bottom, and to open the bag now up full so that when you put used cat litter/poo in through the lid, it has enough space inside the bag to fall down to the bottom of it, to get the most out of the plastic bag...all in all these save me a lot of trouble, as I have Mobility issues and it has made life easier for me . I would definitely recommend these if you are fed up of smelly poo bags in you indoor bin! They aren't cheap, but I've found them to be worth the money in other ways.. have been using the same one since purchasing the litter bin for this item 2 months ago and the same cartridge is still going strong!

I haven't found replacements on any market that are as good as these in terms of smell. Genuinely can't smell anything. And I am paranoid about smells, and they last me like 3 months. I change the bag quite frequently and I don't overfill it.But they're just too expensive really which is such a shame. If you need them it's amaze, but its a luxury. If you can put the waste in the big bin outside, just do that. Or deal with the smell when your cat decides to have a stinker when you've just tucked yourself up in bed.

It is quite easy how to use this with the waste bin, you have to work out how much to pull through for a smooth operation but it is strong and prevents nearly all odoor, which is the whole point of the product.My one reservation is that one cassette only lasted three weeks for my two kittens, who do eat huge amounts and poop for England, but even so it does not last long.However I would prefer something that works well, and it does, than something cheaper that had issues.

No odour at all. I have two indoor cats using clumping litter, and one refill lasts 3 months. These work perfectly.

Very easy to use and set up with the bin. Bags are sturdy and leave no odour whatsoever. Each refill easily lasts us around 6-8 Weeks as they are a good size

This product was originally great and I would have given it 5*. Recently the quality has gone right down and the size of the cassette has changed so it no-longer fits properly into the unit. This means that the lid does not properly seal down flush with the unit top like it used to, so it doesn't stop smells from coming out of the locker. Please can you get the original type that fitted properly and did the job, allowing the lid to close.
