Wonderful!!!
Feels great on my skin, like an expensive facial moisturizer, not greasy sunblock. It doesn't burn my children's eyes, or irritate their sensitive skin. We didn't get sunburns either and we have quite pale skin tones. Smells good too. Ordering another for my purse!!!

Beef tallow sunscreen
I’ve only had it a few days and it’s been kind of rainy so I haven’t been out in the sun with it yet. But I like the way it looks in the way it smells just waiting to see the results.

So Far, It works.
So far, so good. Lacking the test of time, I can only give 4 stars. The 5th may come. I have a few very sun sensitive areas about my face. I'm never out without sun block. This cream is white, and thick in the tin. Rubbing a bit between your palms or fingers, softens it for easier application. It doesn't take much. It's clear when applied. So far, only 3 days, no sun reaction in applied areas. There is a faint smell of beef tallow, which I can live with better than chemicals. I like having the material in an open tin, rather than a tube. I find it easier to deal with.

Fell short in several places for me, but overall good product
First, it will leave a white cast. It is not slight. I am super pale, and it makes me look even paler, even when I rub it in a lot, which I don't want to do. Also, since you don't put it under your eyes, without makeup you may look slightly yellow, or it may enhance dark circles because of the lack of white added there. If you wear makeup over it or if you wear under-eye concealer, this will not be a problem.Second, in weather below 75 degrees, it will be solid like a bar of soap, and you will have to work hard to get any on your fingers and then from your fingers to your face will be even more work. I really don't like the way it pulls on your skin when you apply it. I've always been told to be delicate with the skin on your face, so I don't like that I have to tug on it and rub it in for a while. This seems to be getting better as the weather gets warmer, and the product is now softer and a little easier to apply. Hopefully by summer it will be silky enough to not tug on my skin at all.Smells nice, not really like frosting or cake or chocolate, but maybe cocoa butter? Fades quickly so it's not really worth talking about, unless tallow products used to have a horrible smell and in this case it definitely does not.A helpful side effect of zinc oxide is to calm your skin down, so your skin will probably look better the day after you use it, every time you use it. Unless of course the richness of the tallow makes your skin break out, which unfortunately mine started to do when I wore for consecutive days. But I cannot stress enough how the non-blemished skin was rich and moisturized and lovely.I might want to pop it out of the container and whip it up with a hand mixer, giving it some air, and maybe it will give it the lightness I'm looking for. Will update the review if I ever do.I am currently alternating with a lighter chemical based sunscreen to minimize breakouts, but I would love to stop putting chemicals on my skin altogether. Not sure if I will buy again.

Face
Best face sunscreen there is. Doesn’t burn even if it gets in your eyes and smells great. Have to reapply more often but worth it.

Not worth the trouble
I tried this on my face, neck, and arms. The white cast you get with mineral sunscreens was not terrible, though on darker skin tones it may be too visible. Minimal smell of tallow, which was good. It didn't really absorb, so it was shiny, but it didn't feel uncomfortable to me.The spf is only 20, so it's barely worth wearing, especially since you have the tradeoffs of the greasiness and the whiteness.Because it's all grease and no moisturizer, my skin felt extremely dry when I removed it, so you have to apply a lotion before wearing it.In all, because the spf is so low, it's not worth the trouble.

still got burnt
I took this to the beach to use on my face. I was trying to stay away from all the harmful chemicals put in sunscreen. I had high hopes but unfortunately, my face got burnt. I did apply before leaving the condo and would reapply, still…. not a good idea if you want sun off your face.
