Fresh Air, Easy Install — My Take on Barnakl Ceiling Fan Filters
I recently installed the Barnakl ceiling fan filters infused with activated coconut charcoal, and the difference in air quality has been surprisingly noticeable. The installation was quick and painless—just pop them onto the fan grilles, and you’re done. No need for tools or dismantling anything, which is a huge bonus for someone like me who wanted a hassle-free setup.Within a few days, I started to notice a cleaner, crisper feel in the air—even in rooms that usually get stale or stuffy. The charcoal does a solid job of absorbing odors and airborne impurities, making the space feel more naturally fresh without pumping in artificial scents. Our pet room has especially benefited; the typical “doggy” smell has softened significantly.Performance-wise, they don’t block airflow or make the fan feel sluggish—just quietly doing their thing in the background. The coconut charcoal fabric feels good quality too—firm, yet breathable. One pack lasts several months before needing a swap, so it’s low maintenance. If I had to pick on something, I’d mention that the filters aren’t labeled by expiration date, so I just set a calendar reminder. But that’s a small deal compared to the cleaner air we’ve got now.Bottom line? These Barnakl filters are a simple upgrade that made our home feel fresher without any hassle—highly recommend if you want improved air quality and odor control with zero fuss.

Better than my electric air purifier
Second time purchasing these and when I took down the first set after about 2 months, I was shocked how much it had picked up. SO easy to use without damaging the fans. Love that it isn't something else I have to put in the room or make noise as I usually have my ceiling fans going. Never had a problem with them falling off so adhesive is strong and for the money, is a great value!

No need to dust blades when the fan is running.
I added these to all my fans, and they really do catch a lot of dust while the fans are running. The best part is that I don’t have to worry about dusting the blades while they’re on.

Meh. 🫤
Good idea in theory but they don’t work. They fall off after a few days.

Obsessed.
I use these in the bedroom, where my ceiling fan runs all year. Not only did I immediately notice a decrease dust on surfaces but that weird stale air smell is gone too. My partner thinks I’m an absolute weirdo because I’m so sensitive to that smell, but it drives me insane. Especially in the summer when the AC is on, and the wintertime, when it’s too cold to open the windows. Easy to install, no balance issues with my fan. I have an air purifier that apparently has an idle mode when it’s at 100% for an extended period of time. I had no idea until I started using these. Will buy again, happily.

Overpriced! Easily homemade and better imo.
Almost 30 dollars. These are maybe 3mm thick and literally have sloppily placed Velcro with a sticker back on them. Do yourself a favor and buy a giant sheet of filter (much thicker even so air is actually passing through it not just over it.) and buy Velcro tap and just make you own. Rough guess you can buy the stuff to make 3 or more packages of these for about 15-20 dollars of much better supplies. For people who buy these and show pics of “look at all the dust it collected” must never look at their fan blades on the reg to clean them. Oh well lesson learned. But seriously go buy some filter sheet that’s 1/4 inch think and buy Velcro tape and make your own that longer and thicker grabbing air.
