This Gardena Connection Set Comfort Flex is an outstanding upgrade over Hozelock. You can feel the difference in quality, it’s durable, kink-resistant, and fits perfectly. It nice and flexible. The flexibility of the hose makes it easy to manoeuvre, and the quick couplings and tap connector are incredibly functional, making setup a breeze. No leaks, even under high pressure. For the price, it’s great value for money, and I’m very impressed with its overall performance and reliability. Highly recommend.

A trusted brand excellent quality absinthe right choice

I'd bought a new Gardena hose reel for our garden, this was for my Gardena SuperFLEX hose. Unbeknownst to me I'd need a connecting hose as well to fit it all together.Specifically, if unaware, this item goes directly from the tap to the hose reel connection so that you can then attach the main hose to the reel and wind it up.This is the official Gardena version of that, though I'm sure there are non-brander, cheaper alternatives. To be honest, given the price of the hose reel I'd have hoped Gardena would include it with it, or at least package them together. You can't really function without it.Anyway it's a simple package. Comes with two end connectors which saves having to buy additional ones. The connection hose is around 1.5m in length so take that into consideration when choosing where you're going to secure the reel. The hose that comes with this set is the ComfortFLEX, which is better quality than the Classic hose from Gardena, but not as good as the SuperFLEX. It's still a good quality, and should stand up to the elements.My reason for knocking off a star simply comes down to pricing. This is overpriced for what it is. I bought 30 metres of their premium SuperFLEX for around £55, yet they charge £15.99 for 1.5m of inferior hose. It would probably be just as easy to buy two hose connectors for a few pounds and cut off a 1.5m hose length from your main hose and use that as the connection. I couldn't be bothered with the hassle though. I just feel that it should be around £10 maximum for what it is.Other than that, this was perfect for the job I needed it for. Gardena is a solid brand, I trust their products far more than the other known brand. Good stuff.

We brought this hose connector to replace my old length of Gardena hose and connecting set. Very pleased with the set. Easy to replace and cheaper then buying individually.

It’s of no use to me as couldn’t find a nozzle to fit inside the hose pipe drum so can’t really coment
