It works great! I use it with my Z8 and Z9. I updated to the most recent firmware, version 1.09. The only issue I have is that it doesn't work in high-speed sync on the Z8, but high-speed sync works perfectly on the Z9. I'm keeping it though; it's too nice to get rid of, especially because of how small, compact, and easy it is to use. I imagine a firmware update will eventually fix the high-speed sync issue. I went to my local camera shop (Midwest Photo Exchange) and verified the issue on other Z8's and X3 triggers.

Very nice and sleek

I like this, the battery life is much longer than the prior version and it's smaller. However the button system is clunkier to navigate and it can get confusion with 3 or more flashes. I feel slower than compared to the prior version, which you could control 5 flashes VERY INTUITIVELY. If you want a smaller form factor with longer battery and keep flash set ups simple, then sure, go for it. However I wouldn't say it's groundbreaking and a must to upgrade from the x2.

I was so pleased to be able to replace my old Godox transmitter with one of these and be able to still use my three receivers.I tested this out today with my R3 and R6 Mark II. First note: Only the R3 can use full electronic shutter and trigger a flash; the R6 Mark II must be in at least Electronic 1st Curtain mode or mechanical shutter mode. Once I figured that out, everything was golden.It was very easy to set up, and the channel/group setup was very straightforward. TTL works excellently with these, though sometimes I found (perhaps due to cycle times on my ancient 430EX speedlites), I was not always getting consistent exposure. In a studio environment, I'd never use TTL anyway, but at least it works fine as tested.I cannot speak to the range of these, as I only tested them in one room. Each group was independently controllable via the touch screen or dials on the transmitter.It charges via USB-C to USB-C cables or via USB-A to USB-C cables.Love how lightweight it is and how much bulk it reduces while maintaining or enhancing functionality in my system.

Piccolo leggero come una piuma touch brillante anche sotto il sole e di facile utilizzo, puoi accendere spegnere e regolare la luce pilota, funziona anche su vecchi flash godox serie III e cobra v1. Der Godox X3-C hat mich in beiden Aspekten voll überzeugt.Was mir besonders gut gefällt:Der OLED-Touchscreen ist ein echtes Highlight. Die Bedienung ist intuitiv und schnell – ich kann alle Parameter direkt per Berührung einstellen, was mir besonders bei spontanen Aufnahmen sehr entgegenkommt. Die Touchscreen-Steuerung ist flüssig und die Menüführung klar strukturiert, was die Handhabung deutlich erleichtert. Zudem finde ich die Bildschirmsperrfunktion praktisch, da sie versehentliche Eingaben verhindert, wenn ich in hektischen Situationen fotografiere.Die TCM-Umwandlungsfunktion ist für mich ein echter Gamechanger. Der schnelle Wechsel zwischen der TTL-Blitzautomatik und der manuellen Steuerung ermöglicht es mir, flexibel auf unterschiedliche Lichtverhältnisse zu reagieren, ohne dass ich wertvolle Zeit verliere. Das spart mir viel Zeit und sorgt dafür, dass ich bei wichtigen Momenten keinen entscheidenden Schuss verpasse.Was die Verarbeitungsqualität angeht, fühlt sich der X3-C robust und gut verarbeitet an. Der Schnellverschluss für den Blitzschuh ist solide und hält den Auslöser sicher an Ort und Stelle, ohne zu wackeln.Besonders angenehm ist auch der integrierte Li-Ion-Akku, der sich über einen Typ-C-Anschluss schnell aufladen lässt. Innerhalb von zwei Stunden ist der Akku vollständig aufgeladen, und ich kann stundenlang ohne Unterbrechung arbeiten. Das ist besonders auf längeren Shootings ein echter Pluspunkt.Fazit:Der Godox X3-C ist für jeden Canon-Nutzer, der nach einem leistungsfähigen und benutzerfreundlichen Blitzauslöser sucht, eine klare Empfehlung. Die Kombination aus Touchscreen, TCM-Funktion und der robusten Bauweise macht ihn zu einem unverzichtbaren Werkzeug in meinem Foto-Equipment. Ein rundum gelungenes Produkt, das meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt hat.

Der Kamerablitzauslöser wird in einem praktischen Case geliefert. Alles sieht und ist auch wertig verarbeitet. Das hochwertige OLED Display ist gut zu erkennen und Touch funktioniert auch perfekt. Bedienung ist selbsterklärend und läuft ohne Verzögerung, was eine schnelle Reaktionszeit, wenn notwendig ermöglicht. Der integrierter Akku rundet den Blitzauslöser mit einer langen Betriebszeit ab. Zudem sitzt es passgenau auf meiner Canon, als sollte es auch so sein :)

Croce e delizia, questo trigger me ne aveva fatte passare di tutti i colori quando avevo preso la versione per Fuji ma anche se è servito un pò di tempo per poterne apprezzare a pieno la splendida funzionalità mi ha sicuramente conquistato tanto che alla fine ho preso anche la versione per Canon, ora penso sia il momento giusto per condividere la mia esperienza.Quando ho provato la versione per Fuji, ero rimasto subito colpito dal design rivoluzionario: un trigger touch screen, piccolo, ben costruito e con un’estetica accattivante. Lo stesso vale per la versione per Canon, che mantiene tutte le caratteristiche che avevo apprezzato. È ergonomico, l’attacco sulla piastra è pratico e funziona con un semplice tasto, poi la possibilità di ricaricarlo tramite USB-C è un plus che non va sottovalutato una ricarica consistente visto che la batteria ha una capacità da poter garantire fino a 6000 scatti, è chiaro che parliamo di un prodotto pensato per resistere a lunghe sessioni di lavoro.Tuttavia come preannunciato il mio ingresso in questo nuovo mondo non è stato privo di difficoltà. Abituato a vecchi trigger con tasti e rotelle, la transizione a un sistema basato su swipe e menu touch screen è stata inizialmente frustrante. Il manuale, piccolo con caratteri piccoli e disponibile solo in credo cinese e inglese, non è stato di grande aiuto, e le prime volte che ho cercato di far partire i flash, mi sono trovato a combattere con una logica dei menu che non riuscivo a decifrare.Ammetto che a un certo punto ero tentato di rinunciare, ma fortunatamente ho deciso di perseverare. Cercando informazioni online e con un po’ di test e tentativi, ho iniziato a capire come funziona questo sistema. La curva di apprendimento, una volta superati i primi ostacoli, è stata comunque rapida. Ho riconosciuto molte somiglianze con l’Xpro, e presto ho iniziato a sentirmi a mio agio con questo trigger.Naturalmente, c’è ancora molto da imparare, ma per quello che mi serve funziona benissimo nessuno scatto a vuoto e finora non mi ha mai lasciato in panne. Con la versione Fuji ho già avuto modo di apprezzare le sue dimensioni compatte e la portabilità, soprattutto durante le sessioni all’aperto. Lo schermo poi davvero una sorpresa anche sotto la luce del sole, rimane leggibile.In conclusione, consiglierei questo trigger? Beh io ne ho presi due, quindi assolutamente sì, soprattutto a chi è nuovo nel mondo dei trigger o a chi è disposto a dedicare un po’ di tempo a imparare un sistema innovativo. Anche per chi ha già esperienza con altri sistemi, posso dire che questo trigger è perfetto per un utilizzo amatoriale evoluto e professionale. Buona luce a tutti!
