ECCO Men's Oregon Retro Sneaker Hiking Boot

Very comfortable, good support, good quality materials. Just don’t understand why they only offer them in “combined sizes”. I wear a size 11 but in these shoes you have to buy an 11-11.5. The shoes are actually too big in length, but they feel fine on for the rest of the fit and are very comfortable walking/hiking once they are broken-in. Tried thicker socks but that didn’t help the majority of he fit, so am just living with the little extra length.

I also have the higher top version of these, and like these just as well, and they are a little lighter. I was looking for something that offers good protection for the feet without wanting a steel toe, and these seem very solid. They are also very comfortable. After doing my daily 5 miles of walking in these for a few days, I wore my not inexpensive walking sneakers, and barely made it back home, due to the difference in support and comfort. I do wish that they would offer these in a 48. 47 fits, but just barely.

The first time wearing the shoes, the vamp was more tough than what I've expected. Moreover, my right foot felt squeezed by the vamp and was not very comfortable. However when I started to walk, it became much less uncomfortable. As the sole is softer than it looks like, and you would be able to feel the softness when your are walking.After having weared the shoes for serveral weeks, I am now feeling much more comfortable than my first time wearing (also the vamp part of the shoes is not that tough now).I like the shoes, well if the vamp could be softer I will like it more.

Great shoe..fantastic construction and so very comfortable right out of the box. My only complaint is that this 10-10.5 shoe is a little large. I don't understand because every other pair of shoes I have are 10.5. Thought their sizing system was a little weird but figured if a little small it would stretch out some with wear so should be fine. But in my case..thats not the case. Think these more like a size 11.

I was turned onto Ecco boots/shoes because of my plantar fasciitis, and haven't been disappointed. Great construction and comfort, even after a shift on my feet in the hospital.This is my third purchase from Ecco, and as long as they're selling, I'm buying.

I’ve been wearing Ecco shoes for a while now—they are stylish and most are made for walking. These hiking shoes give me a good amount of grip and still look great. Break in period was fairly quick (one day). I fit a 45 exactly and these may be a little narrow (but I have wide feet—I typically wear US 12-12.5.5 in Nike sneakers). That said, shoes are forgiving enough during break in that it feels great after a day.

Didn’t appeal to me like the Ecco hikers I am trying to retire

This shoe was exactly what I was looking for and more comfortable than other like hiking shoes I tried on. I mainly wanted something for northeast winters on an every day use basis that I could also wear to work or around town. This fit all my needs and can be worn for most occasions. I also liked that they came with two other sets of laces (red - included on the shoe, black and brown). I've owned many Ecco shoes because they last a long time with proper care. I recommend this product.

Arrived promptly. The shoes are comfortable and good quality. Would recommend them. They are light weight and well made. Exactly what I was looking for. I'm a bit fussy about my shoes as I live in a mountainous area where shoes need to be durable because they will take quite a pounding. These tick all the boxes. Excellent product.

I bought these a few years ago on Amazon and have walked miles in them - comfortable and waterproof. Happy customer.

A Little big , chunky shoe , very comfy tho!

Ich als überzeugter Ecco-Kunde habe mir diesen Schuh als Allround-Schuh gekauft, um mit ihm für alle Untergründe gerüstet zu sein. Ich trage ihn sowohl im Büroalltag und in der Stadt, wie auch bei Spaziergängen und kleinen Wanderungen entlang Wald, Feld und Wiese.Der Schuh bietet dank seiner stabilen Konstruktion einen sehr guten Halt des Fußes und das rustikale Profil der Sohle verleiht auf allen Untergründen ausreichend Grip. In Kombination mit der sehr guten Dämpfung, ergibt sich aber gerade auch auf Asphalt ein sehr angenehmes Laufgefühl bei einem auffallend leisen Laufgeräusch. Im Gegenzug mag der Schuh vielleicht etwas klobig sein; dies stört mich persönlich jedoch überhaupt nicht, da er wie gesagt ein sehr angenehmes Laufgefühl vermittelt und sich dazu stabil und sicher anfühlt.Von mir eine absolute Kaufempfehlung!
