LG Remote
I needed a replacement remote and received an identical duplicate. It also came a day early. Works perfect. Set up took literally took less than 1 minute.

Perfect replacement option
This remote is a perfect replacement for the OEM remote. I placed batteries into it and that was all the setup that was required. Press power button t vs came on and remote worked flawlessly. It even automatically connected to my soundbar. Definitely recommend

Not a seemless switch-over.
The magic remote is somewhat "the same" one I got with my TV. When that one started to break apart within the control wheel I decided to get a backup unit. I switched to the new remote and lost some functionality that I had with the original... Set-top cable box and soundbar to be specific. After a couple of weeks of trying to sync these two units with both remotes, I've done my fair share of deep-diving owner manuals to solve the mystery of getting universal control with the magic remote. Bottom line... I would have expected the smart TV magic remote to easily step into the same role as the previous one. Be ready to reconfigure your external boxes to relearn the basic IR commands. On the positive side, it does all the functions with the TV, with little effort.

Stiff Buttons
The buttons are very stiff, especially the wheel. The controller is easy to set up and motion controls feel good. But using the wheel is tough compared to the actual remote that came with the tv originally.

Exact same remote that came with the tv. I was so thankful to find it since my dog chewed up the other remote and had the power button stuck. Super fast shipping and all is well.

Quite impressed...
Worked perfectly "right out of the box". (must have worn out some button actuation with my original) So far every option I choose is functioning as advertised. Even the remote to TV reaction time seems quicker. Maybe it's just me, but I'm quite pleased so far.
