Ratcheting screwdriver
I like this screwdriver very much just the right size. Very high quality looks like it will last a long time. It functions just as it should Right tighten, Left loosen. It will work with any 1/4 bits ( NOT DUBBLE END BITS ) it does not hold or come with any bits. It locks in the bits very tightly. Very good quality and value definitely a good buy.

One of the best
Very low back drag!Ratchet direction selector goes the right way.Easy to swap bits but good lock when it's in. It's the only bit lock that I like. I can't stand the others I have.Only negative is that it's a fairly small handle size. Same as their electrical handle one that I have (non ratcheting version). It's just too thin to get a lot of torque. So personally I wrapped it in silicone tape to increase it in size similar to the next size up of Wera handles. See photo.I did a terrible job with the tape but other than being messy-looking it's now so much more grippy and I'm able to transfer so much more torque.I wish this had a PB Swiss Grip handle. 😭Unfortunately the PB Swiss ones have super strong back drag in the mechanism.Wera do make one with a thicker handle but not with the same ratcheting mechanism as far as I knew. But it's possible I would have been happier with the larger 60 RA model for my uses.I like the Zyklop models that can tilt the head but I find the ratchet on them too stiff. For now this is an awesome tool.

It's not the size, it's how you use it.
Very nice ratcheting handle. will work with 1" bits. Works nicer with 2" bits. 6" bits seem a bit long.Handle is small (compact). Would have liked it to be just a little longer and a bit fatter. Sigh.Ok size for most light assembly.

Exceptionally well made tool
This tool offers the essential fuction of a hex-bit driver, but spices up the swagger with an easy-to-swap ratchet mechanism giving the user the ability to drive or reverse screws with nothing more than a deft flick of the wrist. The quick-release bit holder keeps bits secure due to the detent collar and precision fit. The benefit being that no driver bits will become lodged in the screw and pop free only to drop to the bottom of some dark hole while you're working. The ergonomics of the tool are top-notch. It's easy to hold, and when you need to put the extra gronk onto something, it's grippy, comfortable, and lightweight. Because it trends toward the precision end of the hand-tool spectrum, it has a fine-tooth ratchet mechanism to help drive even the most fine-pitched fasteners with speed and accuracy. There is no on-tool bit storage or storage case. This tool is intended to sit in the top drawer with the tools held only in the highest regard.

Would buy again
Love this screw driver bit holder. Was looking for one that had a ratcheting function that wasn’t over engineered. This has held up well and the functionality of it is fantastic.

better than model 816
returned my model 816 ratcheting for this and glad that i did, this unit has much lower backdrag and it's smaller size means you can apply force with the bottom of your hand while still being able to easily reach the direction selector. the "speed" aspect of the direction adjust is very cool and intuitive. the lower tooth count vs the 816 isn't really an issue, this isn't like a ratchet where the long perpendicular handle might get in the way. the ratchet feels and sounds very satisfying. lost a star because the slop / wobble issue from the 816 is still present. it doesn't affect usage too much and could even help in some cases allowing you to come at a fastener slightly off angle like a wobble socket. but it does detract from the overall feeling. also its much more lightweight than a 816 so better on a pouch or in a bag.

Wera Quality
Fantastic addition to the toolbox! Super smooth ratcheting handle, forward and reverse. Firm and solid grip, much larger than appeared on Amazon pics. This is how to buy one Wera handle with an infinite number of bits (not included). Buy your favorite variety pack of nibs and you are all set. I chose the Wiha German impact kit for 20 USD. So I'll have a set for life. This is a must-have. Don't loan it out and keep it out of reach from the kids and it will last forever.

Great handle to go with the Klien bit set.
Works great with the Klien Impact rated 3 1/2" bits as a handy compact do every task screw driver.
