Levi Strauss Signature GoldWomen's Curvy Totally Shaping Straight Jeans (Available in Plus Size)

Let me start with saying, I hate jean shopping and online makes it harder, especially being somewhat mid size/plus size. However, these jeans are by far the best pair I’ve worn in years! I love them for 3 main reasons:1. Quality is THERE, they are Levi brand so I expect good quality but at the same time was scared it wouldn't be because of online. I was wrong, they are such high quality.2. They are stretchy!! And the jeans are so soft!! The material is amazing and so comfortable. I’m a person who values comfort over fashion but when I can have both, sign me up.3. The cost of these were surprisingly low compared to other brands and other stores I’ve looked at, and I’m always looking for good deals.10/10 would recommend!! I’m in love and will be buying another pair.

My bootcut Levis were too wide for my taste, so I tried these instead. I like the straight legs. They work with my boots and show them off more nicely. I felt like my boots were getting lost in the larger "bellbottom" bootcut legs. They fit well and are very comfy. I've always been a Levis girl, ever since I was a teen, and that was a LONG time ago! Levis fit my body well.

The pockets as per the usual for women's clothing are inadequate. They are very, very shallow. If anyone from the women's apparel industry is reading this, I do NOT carry a purse, so trying to make me buy one because your pockets are too shallow and are in a horizontal orientation is not going to work. DO BETTER. Other than that, they are pretty stretchy, and fairly comfortable, however, they do constantly want to slide down my butt, so I have to keep on top of pulling them back up. I recommend a belt if this is your issue with these jeans.

I am already looking at getting another color. I ordered a 12 short, I am typically a 12 short and these fit perfectly. I love the style as it kind of gives straight leg jeans/mom jeans but flattering for someone who is curvy. Likewise, to someone who is curvy, it has a lot of stretch in the stomach and in the thighs, which is something that a lot of jeans, in store, lack. I just wanted a pair of jeans where I wasn’t toppling over with my stomach and these did that wonderfully. they definitely feel more cotton blend in comparison to the regular denim but they don’t look like it. Again, they flatter you in a very nice way, if you’re short in 5 feet, you will be able to fit into these jeans perfectly with the short cut and the most important things that you don’t spill over! These may just be my new jeans. I received quite a bit of compliments on them, so I’m very happy to say the least. Think of jeggings but a bit better, since I have yet to experience chafing and have worn these multiple times!Overall, 10 out of 10, and I will be purchasing again in different colors!

In my opinion these fit like a normal size 14, just kind of a bit on the relaxed side.The color is spot on compared to the image shown in Amazon.Top of the waist measures 14" laying flat, stretching up to 20" (without a lot of effort)The rise measures 10" (see photos)So far I've only wore them all day long one time and they didn't grow on me. Which is awesome because thats exactly my problem with other brands of jeans, where I'm having to constantly pull them up by the end of the day (even with a belt), or looking like I'm carrying around "a load" lol.I love that these have 5 pockets that are completely functional, in that, I can actually carry things (phone, keys, etc) without making them wear funny and/or cause them to grow.I like that the pockets on the back are spaced out properly, so that it doesn't give the illusion of having a larger rear than necessary. They measure 5.5" apart at the bottom of the pockets, which is .5" more than some of my other favorite jeans, but still within a desired range.The only two things I can note as being potential cons are 1) the interior waist stitching isn't as smooth as some of my other jeans. They don't necessarily irritate me, but it could be a softer. I tired to capture this detail in the photo of the inside tag. It reminded me of a favorite pair of BKE jeans I had a couple years ago. Anyway, No. 2) these are a size 14 short, and they almost too short. Which is crazy because being 5'2" I've never had that problem. The inseam measured 28 1/8". Thats after washing them once prior to wearing. Also, the leg opening at the bottom measured 7.5" wide, and has just a bit of flare at the very bottom.I tried to wear these with my pair of Roper Chukkas and they looked very silly, because they weren't long enough, almost high waters. However they looked fine with my Converse low tops.A couple last things to note: I also bought another pair of "Levi Strauss & Co. Gold Label Women's Modern Straight Jeans" mid rise, size 14 Short (color-Cape Town-waterless). These too were spot on with the imagine on Amazon. However, they fit a little more snug (maybe because they aren't "curvy"?). These are longer, with the inseam measuring 29 3/4" and leg opening 8", again with just a slight flare.And, in an attempt to get the length I was looking for l also bought a pair of "Levi Strauss & Co. Gold Label Women's Modern Straight Jeans" mid rise size 14 long (because the size 14 regular was unavailable). These didn't feel as snug. In fact. I feel like they're looser, just in the stomach (between the waist and stride) causing some unwanted awkward bulging. They didn't hug me like the other 2 pair. The color was accurate compared to the image on Amazon. The inseam on these size 14 long measured 33 1/8" with a bottomleg opening of 7 3/4". And these didn't seem to have that slight flare like the other two pair. I felt like these were a proper straight leg, which were just a little too narrow to fit over my Roper Chukkas correctly.And thats about it.Hope all that helps someone 😁Cheers

All women want is pockets... Well, to be fair, you DO get pockets. Wait. You wanted to be able to USE the pockets? Oh, well, too bad for you. The number of times something has fallen out of my pockets while wearing these jeans pales in comparison to the number of times I've actually worn these jeans. So, it appears I'm going to need fabric and to learn how to use a sewing machine so I can correct the problem myself. The fit is fine, the color is fine. ALL WE WANT IS **FUNCTIONAL** POCKETS

First pair fit perfectly. Almost no shrink after washing and drying. I purchased a 2nd pair about a week later. The second pair is a full size or more larger everywhere. Second pair is an inch longer and super baggy around ankle. Tags inside the waistband are identical. I'm somewhat leary of a 3rd purchase, but these are the best I've found for being comfortable to wear for a 10 hour shift.

Super comfortable and flattering. I'm a bit disappointed that the classic Levi design is not on the back pockets, but at this price, it's worth the tradeoff.

True to size. They stretch enough to be comfortable but do not stretch out. I have 2 pairs because I love them so much.

I really like these pants. So comfortable. I did read in the reviews that they do fit a little snug compared with the denim ones which is true. If the 16 are just fitting with the denim ones then you should order a size up, but if you have some room then a 16 is fine. They are also the perfect length, I am 5'3".

They run big, I followed the advice I saw on here and sized down, they are perfect. I am 152cm and got the ‘short’ jean, it is the perfect length for my height.These jeans are not jegging material, they are denim, but have some stretch to them and fit nicely. The waist is at my belly button, and the back of the jeans fully cover everything. The jeans have structure, but are still comfortable.They look nice, and feel good.

I received these bad boys in 32 short and they look amazing. Social media “influencer moms” advise against using jeans with any stretch and to use 100% cotton. I’ve been frustrated at how my c-section shelf tummy looks, every time I try on other jeans they accentuate my mom pouch which halls made me decide to stay home and disappear (no pictures). However today I tried on these jeans and they hid my pouch and now I feels there’s hope for me. Given these jeans a try and you’ll love them!

Comfortable and flattering…I normally wear a size 8, but decided to order a 6 petite because I didn’t want them to be baggy…best fitting jeans I’ve ever had.
