It is very difficult to place needle probes to get a reading and when you do and try again you get different reading. Most of the time the display stays on a Testing mode without any reading and you have to reposition the probes.It boils down to another product made in China in which the only good thing is the marketing hype but low quality. The meter I received seems to have been a used one as the screen was scratched.Back to the drawing board for me to look for a good capacitance meter design for Electronics PCB repair. I think the only other alternative is to buy an expensive one and see if it can read capacitance.Don't buy this product if you are looking for Electronic Repairs for inline SMB capacitors. I think this could be used by Electricians and AC Repair to test the big capacitors and that remains to be seen.

Unit will not zero. Reading (with open test leads) goes lower, when you push the zero button, but then dances all over the place, never settling on zero or close to it.Measuring a high voltage 40 uf and a low voltage 100uf capacitor of known values, unit read errors in the 12 to 15% range. Sometimes high, sometimes low. I am returning it.UPDATEI've added a star. The replacement does zero (automatically, when you turn it on, or when using the "zero" button). Errors are still in the range of 4 to 6%. If you can live with that, then it's fine.

Cables a bit too short but easy to use and accurate great for hvac capacitors no wait time on readings fast and simple and polite lol says thanks and goodbye
