Well Done
Maintains excellent story line. Great twist with detective. Again, some of the better erotic art work in gothic graphic novels. Looking forward to next installment.

Kristina, Queen of Vampires 3 ...
The Good:1. I received my copy from Amazon on July 1st (Amazon Prime is the best!)2. The artwork is even better than Volumes 1 and 2 combined! The Bad:1. The Storyline (or Plot) this time around is a little weak. Don't get me wrong, people, I've enjoyed the story as presented in Vols. 1 and 2, but Vol. 3 leaves me cold, and that is unfortunate! The sex-to-story ration is WAY tilted towards the sex. What I would've liked to see (if nothing else) is a little more history on our male lead, where we find out just WHO was his Vampire ancestor (along with his link to Kristina)! The Ugly:1. This apparently ends the series. Mr. Mensick, if you read this, please, please, please help us out! Go back to the drawing board (literally!) and look at what you had going in the first two volumes, and build from there! I will be first in line to get Volume 4 (and 5 and 6...you get the idea!)The finish:1. People, I don't regret my purchase, but I was expecting MORE. Check it out for yourselves, you be the judge...I rate Kristina, Queen of Vampires 3...3 stars!

Extremely Disappointing
The only thing consistent in this series is the amazing, full color artwork and the explicit sex. And if that is all you wanted from the series, then this book is worth buying. Sadly, the clever story promised in the first chapter has never been continued. This book is also short like Chapter 2, but even worse, it has the exact same story. There's lots of sex, the police guy and his girlfriend confront Kristina and she is once again foiled by being shot (this has been the case in all three books) and her coven of supposedly much weaker vampires must save her. She ends up in bandages, in her coffin, again. WHAT A HUGE LET DOWN. Even the sex was a disappointment as every scene is an orgy - of mostly women.I understand this is an erotic comic - that doesn't mean a little storyline wouldn't make it better, especially when it was set up so well in the first book. Chapters 2 and 3 could be completely interchangeable as they are. I agree with another reviewer that maybe switching viewpoints to the male coven leader would help. Or, actually have her go live with the coven and see what happens.I do not know if this is the final chapter. If it is not, I'll probably give this series one more shot and buy the next chapter hoping the artist/author gets some inspiration. Overall, this is still the best erotic comic series I have ever seen - too bad the author appears to have lost the magic he had in Chapter 1.Kristina, Queen of VampiresKristina Queen of Vampires Chapter 2 (Kristina, Queen of Vampires) (v. 2)

Missed Kristina.
Everyone is still getting freaky (with great sexy art by Mr. Mensink) but I think our favorite Vampire Queen got the short end of the stick-pun intended-this time around. I would have liked to have seen more of lady K but instead the focus is on the humans. I also did not like the ending as it seemed so abrupt and easy. That being said I hope we can look forward to a prequel to see how it all started and of course some hot vampire sex. Twilight can suck it! I just had to get that in there.
