Its slightly larger size is worth the trade-off for the power and convenience it offers.

Spent 3 weeks in Japan last month. This item worked great for the entire trip - solid build and provided multiple plugs for USB and plugs for laptop and hair dryer/curler. No issues with power conversion and fit all locations throughout country - hotels, trains, cafes. Great value for the money - cheaper than anything we could purchase in Japan.

These adapters worked throughout our trip to Europe. We used them in Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. We were unclear if the were compatible with all of those countries before our trip but they are! Light weight, easy to use, and lots of plugs allowed us to plug in electronics as well as hair dryers. I bought a pair for a trip to the Netherlands, one for myself and one for my son. They worked great, no issues at all. I also plugged up to three items at a time into the adapter and appeared to charge all three without any issues.
