I wrapped these around my chain link fence in backyard. I can't speak for longevity since I've only had them for 3 nights - I hope they'll outstand our winter/snowy months. They are more for adding warmth to the backyard NOT for conventional lighting. I bought the brightest one, white light I believe. The length is long, I used 6 in total. So far, I'm very satisfied!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:These are long! I wasn't expecting them that long but that's a good thing. I'm not using the stakes, they're not needed for my purpose. I put them in 2 lanterns. The one on my front porch gets full sun for a few hours a day and they light up great at night for about 5-6 hours. The ones on my back porch get indirect light to shade all day and no direct light. If it's been a sunny day they will stay on 2-3 hours at night but on overcast days they won't come on at all.

I really like these little lights. I've ordered them twice and I'll order them again. I've got them around my garden, on an arch is my garden, around my chicken run. They're easy to install. I just zip tied them in place on my chicken run, and they lit up the same night I installed them. I got the cool/bright White ones because that is what I prefer.

I love these! I have them wrapped around a shrub in my backyard and delight watching them turn on at dusk, especially in the winter.

These worked great on my trellis over my grill! I ended up buying a couple more to fill it in.
