11 years of daily use and still going!!!
This faucet is well made! We use it daily for our filtered water dispenser and it has stayed strong for 11 years and is still going strong with no leaks or breakage! Thank you for making such a high quality product! I highly recommend it.

Works great for my suntea jar
I have a suntea jar that I just love and did not want to throw away. The spigot that came with the jar had started to leak so bad that I just had to quit using it. So I came to Amazon because they carry EVERYTHING and low and behold they had this item which is described as a water dispenser replacement faucet. But because it looks so similar to what I had on my jar I decided to give it a shot since it only cost upwards of around $8 and no shipping. I just couldn't pass up the chance that it would work. And sure enough it is a perfect fit and does not leak and I actually like it better than the original one that came with the jar. Instead of pushing on the little nub to dispense the tea like I had to do before, now I have a nice big lever that I push down to despense my tea. Very please with my purchase.

Just What I Needed!
I wanted to set up a Bokashi Composting system but didn't want to spend a ton on the fancy (read: logo-stamped and expensive) bin system. So I'm using my own 5-gallon buckets with Gamma Seal lids and this spigot on the bottom bucket for draining the "tea".This little device works like a charm and was VERY easy to install. I used a 3/4" flat blade drill bit for the hole, and when the faucet is installed, the washers snug right up against the bucket on each side so there are no leaks! When using the spigot, it's either on or it's off; no dribbling! The only thing that might be a problem for some is that the spigot sticks out 4-5 inches from the bucket overall, which might get knocked or kicked depending on where you store it. I have the buckets turned so the spigot is against the wall of the garage which gives them a bit of protection. No problems so far and I am very satisfied!

Better than Original Spigot
I have a glass water dispenser shown here: http://www.samsclub.com/sams/4-75gal-beverage-jar/prod8980146.ipThe spigot handle was the twist kind so it broke very easily. I decided to replace it with this handle instead. The thread size of this spigot is larger than the original, so it took a bit of twisting to get it on. After 24 hours, I realized it was leaking and had to tighten it up even more. With the hammered texture of the glass, there were spots where the seal just wasn't tight enough. But after the second tightening, it hasn't leaked again.I believe this handle will hold up much better than the original, in that the design is much better. We've also seen less water overflows onto the counter with this new handle.

Better then orginal.
The price on the item was a little bit more than I do want to spend for a water spigot. However it fit perfectly on my Brita water purifier.I had purchased one at a lower price from a competitor that did not fit even Noah had the same dimensions. The quality on this is really good something you may see on a higher end water dispenser in your office. I like the quality, and the way it's built it seems that could last a while. Highly recommend this if you are looking to replace the water spigot on your Britta water dispenser

Outstanding replacement faucet
This replacement cooler faucet was exactly what I needed. I bought it to install on a cooler that was not designed for a faucet. I wanted a smaller cooler than a 2 gallon with a faucet. After looking in numerous different stores, I decided to try drilling a hole in a 2 1/2 qt. cooler and installing a faucet myself. The threaded portion of the replacement faucet was a little short. So, I used a heat gun and warmed up the area around the hole I drilled in the cooler and was able to push it in far enough to be able to use the rubber washer and plastic nut (included) to secure the faucet. Then to prevent any possible leaks, I used some clear epoxy around the outside around the faucet flange. No leaks. Works great.

It worked for my little project
I purchased this to make a drain bucket for oil when changing oil on my vehicles. Used oil goes in the bucket and this valve makes it easy to put the used oil into the empty bottles to drop at the the auto parts store for disposal. It is obviously not very complicated, but it functions well and does not leak. The price is comparable to others, which I find to be about twice as much as it should be, but that's just my opinion about a cheap piece of plastic. If it were brass, I could see it costing more of course.Giving it 5 stars for function, which is really what we all care about.

Easy To Install No-Leak Replacement Spigot
I ordered three of these to replace the worn out and leaky spigots that came with the ceramic water crocks that we bought from a thrift store. (We make continuous brew kombucha in the ceramic crocks.)The replacement spigots were easier to install than the old spigots were to remove. There is a diagram showing correct placement of the washers printed on the heat sealed bag that the spigots are packaged in. The washers need to be installed properly (with the flat side facing away from the hole in the crock) and the jam nut tightened enough to slightly squish the washers against the crock walls. We have had no leakage issues from any of the three replacement spigots.I really like that these spigots can be disassembled for cleaning. The lever portion unscrews from the spigot body. We have one particularly exuberant kombucha strain that will quickly clog a spigot with a baby scoby. Being able to occasionally take this spigot apart to remove the little scoby keeps the kombucha flowing.I am very happy with these Tomlinson Replacement Faucets, and think had the ceramic crock’s previous owners known that they could have replaced the worn out and leaky spigots on their ceramic water crocks they wouldn’t have donated them to the thrift store where we found them.
