Even though these look exactly like the craftsman ratcheting wrenches in the top part of the case, they are not. "max axess combination wrenches" basically means regular wrenches with lots of teeth.When you use the adapter for regular sockets, it loads from the back of the ratchet, so applying too much pressure downward causes the adapter to pop out, so the max axess to regular ratchet adapter things are crummy for that reason. I was also hoping that there may be some kind of adapter that made these pass through sockets into regular sockets, then they could be used on adapters for a drill or impact or something, but there is not. So it's inconvenient to use regular sockets with this ratchet, and not possible to use these sockets with any other ratchet or adapter.2 of the wrenches will not stay in their clippy spot in the case. Defeats the purpose of an organized case.Finally, if you take it at face value and use it just for the pass-through sockets, then it's okay.. The ratchety part feels like it has big clackety teeth, a little worse than regular craftsman ratchets, but with the craftsman warranty there's probably not much to worry about there.

Great, but not a starter set.
If your new to tools, there may be a bit of confusion on how to use some of the adapters. So far they have been great. If you don't need pass through sockets, there are more complete kits than this. This is not a starter tool set.

Great ratchet set!
Beautiful ratchet set! These things eliminate the need for practically 12 times as many sockets. Heavy, too. Definitely Craftsman quality tools. I was worried these might be flimsy, but they're not!

Arrived quickly. Love my craftsman tools!Update: Do not buy, sockets are stripping a lot of bolts. Attachments fall off all the time into my engine compartment too.
