Maybe it’s just us but, for some reason, we keep running low on teaspoons. They’re my preferred size for everything from yogurt to soup to ice cream - and I’m picky about them. They need to be the right size, balanced, and have smooth edges.I really appreciate the option to purchase just one piece; you can get a feel for the whole set (or, as in our case, beef up your inventory and/or replace a missing item).Unfortunately this spoon just doesn’t measure up to those specifications. Given the affordable price-point for these ($1.99 / each at the time I ordered) I can overlook a lot, and will hold on to this for desperate times, but this is not my new favorite as noted below.1. The bottom edges are very pointed which just isn’t comfortable to me2. The bowl is shorter and wider than I prefer3. The “balance” isn’t optimal for me, i.e., I can’t find a good balance point between the end and the bowl.4. The spoon is very lightweight (no real “heft”) - almost as light as plastic would be.I’m giving 4 stars because you can see most of these “issues” in the product listing photos and I really think it’s just a matter of personal preference vs. any flaws in the product itself.Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful!

Like the look of the silverware but the small salad fork and spoons are almost child size. I would have returned if I had realized this before washing.

These are great sturdy silverware. We received a box with 4 settings for Christmas and purchased another matching box so we have 8 settings. These silverware are perfectly weighted and seem to be great quality. For the price they’re fantastic. We’ve been using them for about 3 months and we love them.

First off, I really like the flatware. It has a good, balanced weight, and is fairly plain, which I like. The handles fit well into my dishwasher basket. The bad, I waited to open until passed the return period. I only verified that this was the correct product upon arrival. I had purchased these before, and knew I liked them. Weeks later I opened to find a missing spoon, and all the other in that stack(5 total) scratched pretty badly. The wooden tray was also broken. Lesson learned! 😞

We just added 2 more sets to the first sets we bought. Perfect no nonsense silverware, cleans great in the dishwasher, kids like the size of the small fork/spoon.

Nothing really wrong with this spoon--it does the job! The finish gradually changes from polished in the "bowl" of the spoon to brushed metal on the handle, but this one came with some scratches on the handle that visually mar the brushed finish. It's a cosmetic blemish, but it makes it look a bit chintzy. The handle isn't especially comfortable in my hand, either. It seems a bit short, with edges and corners or something that don't really fit in my palm. I wouldn't want to be using it for ice-cream or anything that requires arm pressure. Perfect for stirring tea, though.

Flat and lightweight. Feels good in the hand and hold up well in the dishwasher. New favorite coffee spoon
