SimplexHealthWater pH Test Strips 0-14 Wide Range & Four Pad Universal for Acid Alkaline Testing, 100 Strips - Better Than Litmus Paper

Works well but when compared to another test strip it appears there is a .5 difference. Can't be sure which is more accurate.

I can't tell if these strips are working or not. I followed the directions on the packaging and submerge the strips for half a second in tap water and filtered water I did not notice a change in colors. Not sure if my water is a perfect 7 or these strips just aren't working

I thought all 4 colors are supposed to match a ph entry. Am I color blind or is something wrong with both strips in my photo?...later...This issue continues through the batch of strips. I have very low confidence in the accuracy of the results. Not sure if this is an old batch or something.
