Good tape for beginners
Being very new at grafting this tape arrived in perfect time to try my hand at grafting cold hardy avocado trees. My root stock was finally large enough and I'd watched all the how to videos I could find. This tape is somewhat self adhesive which for me made the process easier. The tape itself is thin and easy to work with. Fingers crossed!

Useless. Returned it.
This was totally useless. My husband said when he pulled it tightly to keep the graft in place it stretched into an unusable string and dislodged the graft from the position he wanted. He received a refund.

Does the job
this tape is ok and is doing its job. It is not at all sticky so starting the wrap is a little more difficult than necessary. It does stretch easily and stays put once started. I grafted a mango with it and did not cover the scion completely so I do not know if the buds would be able to poke through.

From just a look this tape appears to be plenty to busy and entertained in the garden.
I have never invested in this amount of grafting tape- real grafting tape!I am very excited to begin using it for real.I love to play with my plants. I have grafted house and garden plants, in addition to adding a few grafted branches to an apple tree that came with the house.I learned grafting years ago from an uncle who worked with trees of all sorts. I was amazed with the apple and plum trees he created to have multiple varieties growing at once. I have always used plastic wrap and at one time w interest is in grafting garden plants to give more variety in limited space. Tomatoes are what I mainly work with.Since I have this magical tape to try out I’m hoping to try a few pepper types. And I’ve always heard that a tomato can be grated on top of a potato plant. I’m not sure that sounds reasonable, but I sure am going to give it a try. My plan is to try it on potato plants started in Potato grow bags. I’m hoping that I can pull a green potatoes from the flap of the bag and keep the plant living to support the tomato top. Not sure about it working or being valuable, but having actual grafting tape should make the attempt easier and more likely to succeed.

Nice light grafting tape
I graft about 10 scions a year, and have done so for 15 years. I have always used grafting tape that is a bit thicker than this one. The downside of thicker tape is you have to leave enough extra to tuck the end under one of your loops, which is tricky with small diameter scions. This tape is thinner, and also fairly self-adhesive, so I should be able to secure it without tucking it under another loop. This will also be much easier to remove after the graft is secure in a year or two. This is important because I have killed many scions by leaving the tape on too long (the tape will girdle the branch if you leave it on too long).I'll report back after I have used the tape in my yard.

Fine for smaller grafts
This grafing tape looks good and is self-adhesive. This width (about 3/4 inch) will work best for smaller grafts.

Essential to my new hobby
As a beginner in grafting, fruit trees, and having a year experience with bonsai, I find this product and cryptically helpful for my new hobby. The Konload nursery grafting tape has been a great aid in my learning process and has proven an essential tool to my grafting projects. I particularly appreciate that it stretches, so I don’t have to keep readjusting it, and it helps retain the moisture during the healing process. Although I didn’t realize that it would be clear it does allow me to easily monitor the healing process and growth while it keeps pests away from the grafted area.
