Decent length, nice and warm
This has become my go-to coat for winter. It is classically styled and goes well with a tie or polo. The collar is rather stiff, which means it doesn't collapse (which is good) but it can get a little irritating on the back of the neck. The inner breast pockets are a bit too high for my tastes, making cell phone retrieval a bit less than fluid, but they do serve their purpose. Outer pockets are deep and keep hands warm. The hidden front zipper keeps out the wind as well. Overall, it's nicer than most would expect from an Amazon coat.

a great amazon jacket.
So if you’re like me, you came to the review section because you want some insight on to how this item fits, compares to the images, and if it’s worth the money. I’ll try to be as objective as possible but please make your own decision. This is my take on the product. As far as fit, I’d say the item fits as expected. That being said, KNOW my measurements. I wear tailored clothes quite often, so using the sizing guide helped me make the best size decision for me. I’m 6’0”, 178lbs, with an athletic frame (broad shoulders, more narrow waist, tone but not muscular arms.). Th item fits perfectly while standing and has the expected resistance when seated (the buttons have a small tug). It’s is NOT tailored cut! It’s a box frame jacket, so don’t expect it to be slimming. The length is perfect for me, comes down just past my rear pocket line (pants pocket). Sleeves are roomy enough to move in but still more of a formal fit. The stitching isn’t designed to be long lasting. Nothing is frayed or popped off yet, but there were some loose threads I had to clean up.The material is polyester through and through. Don’t expect this to be super warm, but is great for layering. A little coarse at first, especially in the neck line, but with wear that goes away. This item is NOT machine washable. Not is it dry clean only. It’s one of those spot clean items, so be weary of that.Ultimately, I was pleased with this jacket. It looks and feels good and it’s what I wanted. I hope my insight helps you make your decision. Best of luck!

Good Value Wool Blend Coat
I bought the coffee-colored medium weight coat as a x-mas gift for myself and overall I’m happy with it.The coat is decent quality, but it is an 80/20 poly/wool blend, so the fabric isn’t exactly premium. I really like the coffee color which is a black and brown twill fabric. Buttons a back gloss plastic with a silver edge binding. All my buttons were in good shape and securely sewn. My coat came with a single extra button. A single vertical zipper pocket is on the left breast. The zipper is chunky and unbranded but the action is smooth and it works. On the collar there is a silver buckle and black snap that can be used on cold days. I haven’t used it but the construction looks sturdy. There are simple interior pockets without buttons or zippers on the left and right breast. Again, construction seems sturdy. The lower exterior pockets have superfluous buttons but the pockets themselves are sturdy and warm. The fit is reasonably modern (i.e. slim) for me in a good way. However, I do have a fairly athletic build with a 42”+ chest and a 32”- waist. I really liked the fit at my shoulders and I would have preferred a closer fit at my middle— though with my build I can’t reasonably expect that from anything but a tailored coat. Length is just about right, with the coat extending down to the bottom of my jean pockets. Weight is also as advertised. The medium weigh keeps me warm in Southern California winters and would work well in Midwestern springs or autumns.Overall I’d recommend the coat. It looks good, the construction seems to be quality (though I think the fabric blend at only 20% wool is mediocre) it’s warm and the fit is good if not great. At $50, I doubt you can do better.

I would recommend it..you can waer it on day to day basis and if you go out on a fancier night out!!! worth the money!!!! Ultra thick is warm and stylish
Honestly I was reading the reviews and saw that the coat was hit or miss, but the quality is impressive from the small price tag. Large fits perfect and I got so many compliments the first time I wore it. It's comfy and I got the ultra thick version, it's warm! I'm sure the lighter ones aren't.

The jacket is just OK to me.
I’ve been looking for a perfect jacket for my upcoming trip in the winter. I wanted a pea-coat style jacket but nothing that was too long. This style really caught my eye so I really wanted to get this. I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying this jacket was cheaply made and wasn’t of a good material so I was skeptical about how it would be. The fit is a little under perfect. I guess I thought it would be similar to a hoodie at the arms but it’s not too long nor too short at the arms extending to just a little over my wrist. What really gets me is the material. It looks REALLY wooly compared to what’s in the product photo. I’m not sure about the Quality of the Stitching since I don’t see any flaws. I just feel like if I button and unbutton it repeatedly then I will definitely lose a button or two. I only need this jacket for a 3 week long trip so I hope it can last out until then. I’ve got compliments when I tried it on so I’m giving it hope. I don’t love it and I don’t hate it. Just looks and feels neutral to me and it shall fulfill its purpose. Therefor only 3 stars. The metal on the buttons is really shiny so that part seems okay. I’m sure it’s still cheap metal though. I would have paid $40 for this jacket not $60 or more. I hope the extra $20 went to a good purpose ..
