Works better than viralys and l-lysine tablets
When I don't give my cat lysine he can't breathe because he gets snotty. Once I started giving him this, he instantly gets better, if I miss a day or two I can definitely see and hear it. I switched him to viralys, didn't work as well. Then to save more money I bought l-lysine powder and it was even worse! My cats also licks this off my finger which makes it easier for me to administer. Love it!

Grayson actually needs this medicine
We absolutely LOVE this product. Our kitty needs this medicine, when I order it, it’s not on time. Sometimes I order get it the next day, other times it’s like more then a week until I get it. This medicine has made Grayson more healthy, less trips to the vet.

Cheaper than In-Store (so far)
This seems to be exactly like the one I'd buy in store at a local pet shop and even one of those pet stores (Petsmart? Petco? one of them). I use this regularly because apparently one of my cat has some immune-support issues and when he got sick (respiratory infection) he took a LONG time to get better. My vet recommended Lysine (not this one) and now he gets this regularly just in case. He has no problem licking it off paw. But the highlight of this one is, again, how much cheaper it is. We'll see how long that lasts. I think in-store it was $29 (local pet shop) and $30-something (large chain petstore).

Works for my cat
My cat will occasionally get sick and this really helps, and my cat loves it!

Surprisingly, she loved it...
I didn't know cats liked maple flavor. I looked it up and it turns out not many do. My senior kitty loved this stuff, which was a pleasant surprise. :-D And, it seemed to reduce her sneezing. However, although she seemed to think this was a treat and I purchased another tube so as to not run out, now she's uninterested and even turns her head away from it. :-( Cats!

3/4 of my cats love it
The media could not be loaded. I still can't believe somebody thought to make Maple a flavor for a cat supplement, but here we are. Three of my four cats lick the stuff right off my finger, while I just smear it on the fourth one's nose and lips. She is the one who needs it the most, of course, but she refuses to eat any of the treat versions I've tried and this has been the easiest way to get Lysine into her system.

It's likely a great product IF the Royal One will ingest it. Didn't even pass sniff test for mine
I hate giving a really low rating for something that is assuredly working well for those whose furry masters like the smell and taste, or you're able to us an oral syringe on the Royal One without getting flayed and/or disemboweled in the process. But this product (and another brand I tried, also w/this Maple(!) flavor) was a total non-starter for Sir Thomas Widebottom, the sick one, and his much younger brother, who has to be involved in everything, Sir Henry Heatseeker.Sir Thomas has the virus, not diagnosed correctly in the beginning, and his symptoms were getting worse this past year and a real concern. Once the correct diagnosis was made, finding Lysine in a form that he would accept in a large enough dose on a daily has been a challenge. I tried this product and a "treat" type to start with but he turned his head away whether it was put on a spoon or my finger and he's not a finicky guy, most of the time, unless he wants to be.Can't use the oral syringe, as done successfully with previous gatos, he doesn't tolerate being held or restrained for any reason (previous trauma) and I was wrong in thinking it might be possible to place it on a paw. If your cat doesn't thoroughly lick up every bit (but flings it like mine) and groom really, really well (or maybe you can just clean your cat's paw unlike me), any residue dries like glue on fur.Which brings up the question of "Why use Maple" flavoring/smell in the first place? We like it but the meatmasters? But, there must be enough success with it so that two (at least) companies use a similar product as their only offering in the squeeze-tube format. In any case, both brands, tried a few months apart, were complete non-starters for my guy.The "chew treat" type saw better success initially, broken up on top of their dry food (didn't like as a standalone treat). I say "their" since they trade dishes more than once at every meal so both got them to make sure the patient got enough. After a week or so and a few days apart, one or both would sniff and walk away or eat around the "treats". Pits. His symptoms were coming back so it was back to the search.Tried other chew types since they would be easiest as neither likes wet food very much (another first in my cat history) but with similar or worse results. Finally found success with a non-flavored, nothing but Lysine powder (after failure with flavored) type that mixes well at full dosage in wet food and/or can be sprinkled on dry food as a supplement (they seldom eat all their wet food). For my guy(s) and their particular particulars, this solution is working (So far! Fingers crossed) and Sir Thomas is a much healthier and happier Master of his Cativerse. The outcome in your Cativerse may be completely different. The End (Finally! Right?)
