Pricey But Serves It's Purpose For Our Dressage Riding
Pixio was suggested by my wife to assist in filming her dressage riding when nobody was around. Product is easy to set up for her and works like a charm. For us to purchase we had limited agents to get it from. I live in Canada so I could only get it from one location in the U.S. Shipping and duty makes Pixio is a bit of a luxury buy. Highly recommend Pixio for indoor and outdoor use. Has a very large range that you can place the beacons and track you.

Wouldn't buy it again
Meh, it does what it says... sorta. It doesn't work great in a smaller room, needs to further back in a bigger room. It's advertising makes it look like you can stream at just a click of a button, but honestly you need one device to control the pixio and another to record/stream. We had a 30 day window to return it, the first 14 days were spent shipping it. Then we spent about 2 weeks trying to learn how to use it, and figured there was user error. It was about 5 days after our return window we figured it just wasn't what it was cracked up to be. Wish we could have returned it, we would have.

Good "Low Budget" robotic cameraman
The Pixio robot is a clever idea developed in France by a crowd funding mechanism. It was designed to record on a flat plane (as it will not move up and down... only left and right). It actually works fairly well for what it does. It responds to the watch controller (which can be kept in a pocket rather than worn as an arm or watch band.) It does not anticipate the motions of the subject... it responds to it, so, at times, the subject can walk to the edge of the camera field of view, especially if the camera is zoomed in quite a bit. You can find fully robotic cameras that do what this does much better if your budget is significantly higher than the ~$800 this system costs, but, for the money, we are very happy with its performance of recording of our church service without having to have a cameraman present to keep the subject in frame. The company has a phone controller app that works to monitor the camera and beacons, but it does not have a video display of the picture through the camera's aperture. The Pixio control app would rate a "2". We purchased a Sony AX53 4K camera to mount on the robot. Sony has its own phone based controller app that we use because you can not only control its zoom, but can SEE it as well. (but you can't monitor the beacon battery status.) I guess you have to sacrifice at times!Another reviewer indicated that he had had an issue with communication with the Move N See (Pixio) company being less than responsive. We are having an issue with the physical connection with the #2 telemetry beacon and had to send it back to France for their inspection. They were very responsive to our communications (all done by email as I didn't want to spring for the international call!). Because of their location (France) as well as their size (new start company) you may want to be aware that should something happen, you will be communicating with people that are 5 hours ahead of the US eastern time zone. This device is a Radio Frequency device that works line of sight between the robot, 3 beacons and the controller watch (reminder: it requires a separate camera as this is the robot controller ONLY). This device will work outdoors in a ~330 foot area so it works for equestrian or other "line of sight" events. They also make a more expensive outdoor GPS controlled device for people who want to have a stationary video device that would video surfers, para sailors, etc. That device will NOT work indoors due to the required interactions with the satellites. It also appears that they are developing a smaller version of this device called a "Pixem" that will accommodate a cell phone. Not sure about its release date.

Good afternoon Amazon
Good afternoon Amazon,My name is John Johnson and I purchased the Pixio six months ago. I am having an issue with the merchandise that I purchased I have tried contacting the company and no response on getting the issue resolved I am requesting a refund from the company. But no success thus far this has been on going for over a month and I have missed out on several functions that I was depending on the Pixio to do it's job. Let me explain my issues and concerns the Pixio will not update, and will not connect to Bluetooth, will not connect to the watch that I just purchased. I have read the user manual watched the video and again no success.

customer service has stopped???
This product is a great idea and initially as we were working through the bugs the customer care center was very responsive and helped me improve the performance daily... then 1 week in they stopped answering my emails. There is a 14 day trial period and i can't get answers now for a week and the equipment is not working properly. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!
