I bought two of these Timers for use in the kitchen. When I received them I noticed just how protectively packed they were. Opening them revealed the maker's name stamped at the top of the Timers which I like as so many small items are unbranded. The instructions were easy to follow and the Timer will count in hours as well as minutes and seconds and this is a distinct plus. There are other functions as well, so it's quite versatile. It has a very clear display and either a good loud alarm or a flashing light for people with hearing problems. It's a beautifully made Timer and I totally recommend it.

I bought this as it had a separate button for each function. Some timers I have used require the pressing of two buttons just to stop, meaning you have to keep trying random combinations which, if you are lucky, actually work but more often just restart the timer. It is also quite a nice size with larger buttons and not those small round fiddly ones. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and am able to handle and operate this this quite easily. This timer is so clear, each button is clearly labelled and so easy to use. The ringer is quite clear and easy to hear as well. The timer also counts up as well as down and has a clock. What more could you need. I have since bought a second one as it is so handy when timing more than one thing. I also use the timers as reminders to do different things during the day and even as an alarm clock! As a timer this is definitely the best I have used. I would certainly recommend it.

Our venerable kitchen timer gave up the ghost when dropped on the floor and was trodden on! 50% of the display disappeared rendering the timer effectively useless.I popped down to a local shop and spent £12 for a clockwork device that has proved hugely disappointing given it's total inaccuracy! Alas, that is not a welcome feature of a kitchen timer....Based on the Amazon Reviews, I decided on this device and I am pleased I did. Yes, I could have saved a couple of quid by ordering a timer that would be shipped from China. But, given I wanted something immediately, this one appeared to be good value. In addition, it comes with a clock, an alarm, the facility to disable the clock and/or timer alarm, and it is already fitted with the necessary AAA battery.My timer duly arrived in the promised 2 days. It was minimally packaged (which is fine) but was disappointingly dwarfed by the enormous Amazon padded envelope! Anyway, all works as advertised (though I did swap the supplied 'carbon' AAA battery with an alkaline one I already had). The instructions are adequate though they are incorrect as to setting the clock (you need to hold the 'start/stop' button until the ':' symbol stops flashing - then press then press 'start/stop' again, once the time is set) . However, that is my only gripe.At less than £4 (including delivery) I am very pleased. One month on it is still working just fine.

My original kitchen timer eventually gave up, however it was a god many years old. I could not find a direct replacement for the one that I had, but after some research decided on tis one having read the reviews. I can only concur with them, easy to use straight from the box. Good quality. clear screen and the alarm is loud enough. Excellent product.

This timer is small neat and has magnets so it can stick to steel surfaces.Its instruction leaflet is very small so difficult to read. No instructions are given for setting the clock function. It work well as a timer.The only way I coulds t tilet the clock was to wait till Midnight, take the battery out and put it back quiclywhich is extremely inconvenient.

The media could not be loaded. This timer is easy peasy to set up and use. You can switch from clock/timer/alarm mode by the touch of a button. Good and loud alarm sound when the timer is up. I needed this so badly as due to my health problems I have frequent lapses of memory so regularly forget I've put something in the oven or on the stove! It's been a life saver really and it's a non-fancy object which is not costly at all. Nice compact design which is magnetic so it sticks to my fridge. It also has a little stand you can pull out. It doesn't look cheap it's made from quite good quality material I think. I'm going to buy another one for my sister as she has a terrible memory also!

It does what you would expect. The alarm was loud enough without being painful to hear like some we've tried!There was no battery in the packaging.
