I have a travel bag that I use frequently. Once the strap broke, I tried to carry it before realizing I needed a replacement strap. This strap is better than the original one I had on the bag. The color matches perfectly and the hardware (i.e., the clasps that attach to the bag) are really sturdy, which is most important as this is where straps tend to break.The padded shoulder cushion is really comfortable and makes carrying heavier loads easy. Overall, a tremendous buy!

Purchased as a replacement strap for a duffle bag- gets the job done nicely

Purchased this replacement strap for my computer bag (the old strap was plastic and made some noise when I walked from where the clasp spun). The bag held my computer and its power adapter (Lenovo ThinkPad T440p), about a half dozen pens, my eReader (Kobo Clara), and a notebook. One of the clasps broke as I walked to work on the first day I used it. Really disappointed at the poor build quality of the strap. Please steer clear.

I bought an amazon basic camera bag that had a strap with squeaky hardware that perhaps someone other than myself could have fixed. I didn't want to return the entire bag just to replace the strap, so I donated the strap and bought this. I used it on a 3 week trip abroad where I brought my camera bag out almost daily and am very pleased with it.

I was just looking for a shoulder pad to add to my camera bag strap because the strap was digging into my shoulder.Found this for about the same price as just adding a pad and it has metal hardware.The shoulder pad is actually just a little too big and the strap slides around inside of the pad.The strap material itself is has a nice smooth satin finish and the buckle moves easily... in fact, too easily paired with the polished steel buckle the strap slides by itself requiring adjustment to shorten it.I've added a lens holding clip to the strap which I picked up online for under $2. This has stopped the strap from slipping.The lens holding clip is actually not very useful on my camera strap because it can only hold the 52 mm lens cap well... photo shows a 58 mm lens cap and it doesn't fully go in. But it is keeping the strap from slipping.This strap is wider at 1.50 inches (38 mm) than the strap 1.25 inches (32 mm) which came with the equipment bag.The large shoulder pad is actually very useful if you carry the strap on the opposite shoulder across your body.Those who have very broad shoulders would like the extra wide shoulder pad.I do like the metal hardware in the quality of the swivel.Although the strap has shortcomings I like it alot for my heavy camera equipment bag.

Purchased this strap for a laptop computer bag (Dell). It works well.I would recommend this product.

Great strap...sturdy, comfortable, great value. I bought this for one of my courier bags that the strap was too short, well I’m finding myself using this on some of my other bags that have removable straps. I think I’ll be ordering another before too long. Will definitely recommend to my family and friends.

Item is pretty strong on my shoulder, I don't feel like it's going to snap on me anytime soon.The material is a little rough, and the shoulder pad moves when I'm walking so it grinds against my skin a little bit. If my bag is over 10 lbs, all the weight condenses on the strap on my shoulder, and since the pad moves, the rough cloth grinds even harder on my skin.Moving makes the adjuster move, so i'm constantly having to re-adjust the clip higher.
