The central figure of the Star Wars Saga, Darth Vader is joining the collector favorite Real Action Heroes line just in time for Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith!! This is a one-time item which will not be re-issued, and is a must for owners of the previous Real Action Heroes: Luke Skywalker figure! This exquisitely-detailed figure stands about 320mm (that's over 12 inches) in height, and features a real cloth outfit and a removable three-piece mask, allowing you to witness Anakin Skywalker's scarred visage up close! Comes with a figure stand, and enough presence to become the centerpiece of your Star Wars toy collection! Like other popular Real Action Heroes figures

... for the sideshow luke skywalker/Jedi knight but want something better than the Hasbro or Kenner figures
if you don't want to pitch in the big bucks for the sideshow luke skywalker/Jedi knight but want something better than the Hasbro or Kenner figures, this is a good choice. I am very satisfied with the medicom version of Luke skywalker- the clothing is of a reasonable quality and the likeness is fine. This action figure is much better than the Episode III Darth Vader figure which I also purchased

Figure was cool but likeness was off
Figure was cool but likeness was off, wasn't a true 12 inch figure and the belt didn't snap on as it should. All in all not a bad figure. I particularly like the cloak design and its overall look.

Sideshow or Medicom ?
If your a fan of Star Wars like I am, and you collect the 1/6 scale figures of the series as I do, then you know that Sideshow and Medicom has been producing real quality figures. The first in both lines that they started with was the Jedi Knight version of Luke Skywalker from Episode VI. Now to actually get to reviewing Medicom's Luke, first with the sculpt, a very fine and detailed peice and with almost near likeness of Mark Hamil/Luke Skywalker. I favor the expression that Medicom chose to use for this figure, I also have to say that Sideshow has the upper hand in this department, while not a bad sculpt it is very good. The articulation on this RAH figure is tremendous and the figure looks good in whichever way you pose him! Sideshow did a good job on their body too however, if you have seen any pictures of it then you know that the forearms on that figure look odd and skinny when hanged at his side, Luke is a short guy but I know that his arms ain't that long, they did fix it on their later bodies for the line though. Medicom's RAH figures have the great articulation body and this one is no exception. Clothing on both Medicom's and Sideshow's Luke is both GREAT quality, though Sideshow's is quite to tight and is part of the reason as well why the figures forearms look so skinny, Medicom's clothing is PERFECT but it's belt is a pain to put in when you first try to get it on wheres's Sideshow's belt is perfect. Notice a pattern? Both come with great amount of accessories with Sideshow coming in with a unlit and lit lightsaber, cloak, 5 hands total oh and a bone the exclusive of Sideshow's figure comes with the gun he took from Lando in Jabba's Palace. Medicom's Luke comes with a lightsaber and a peg thingy to make the lightsaber unlit, his cloak, and 7 hands for different possible poses. So as you can see for accessories both come with a fare good amount. So over all really, both are very GOOD quality figures and to decide which one to get over the other can be kind of overwhelming just keep in mind the Pluses and the Negatives of each figure, the prices as well. If you can find this Medicom Luke at a decent price you like and or a Sideshow Luke for a decent price I'd recommend trying to get both! ;]Really I'm not biased at Medicom or Sideshow's Star Wars 1/6 scale at all as I do collect from both. So really I'm just trying to give you an idea on what both sides of Luke's give you and what they don't. Hope it has helped! May the Force be with you.

aufpassen
