This is so amazing! I haven't had an ice maker for years. When we bought our new frig, the ice maker line didn't have a place for a filter, and I can't stand the taste of our water. I drink a lot of water, and iced tea/iced green tea. After making two trips a day to the corner store for cups of ice and usually pops, I decided it was time to put in a coffee/tea bar, add this ice maker, toss in disposable cups and basically make my own c-store corner without the drive to the corner. It makes ice so fast, I can bag it in quart bags and toss it in the freezer so when I'm ready, one bag fills a 44 oz cup. When I add my hot tea from the pot, one bag works pretty well. I just make up a few bags a day and turn it off. I use about 2 or 3 bottles of water a day because I go through a lot of ice. It's super easy to clean, it even has a cleaning mode which I haven't used yet. It seems pretty durable if you follow the directions and use as intended. Probably wouldn't be the best for someone who is trying to make a 10-pound bag of ice a day, not to say you couldn't...I just wouldn't want to. The basket is small, but perfect for my use. It holds about a 16.9 oz bottle of water and half at a time. I keep mine set to the small ice so there's less air. There's no cooler compartment, so I don't wait for the basket to fill all the way before emptying it. The longer it sits, the more it will melt before going into the freezer. You will have to hit the bag a bit to break the ice apart before using. But to me, these are all minor issues. The ice maker works very quickly, is easy to use, easy to clean, makes ice as long as you keep adding water, and doesn't make a lot of noise. It convenient and easier than having to hop in the car and run to the store for a soda. When it dies, I will gladly buy the same machine. My needs may differ from yours, but for me, it's a dream.

Incredible product. I don’t have to make ice anymore!! The ice is the bullet type, it lasts long in drinks. The machine is not loud so it doesn’t disrupt the flow of the house. The functionality is great, I always have ice and I can move it wherever I want it!

Always wanted and finally found a reasonably priced one! Makes ice very quickly. Love the size and shape of the ice. Didn't realize there was no cooling apparatus so you have to use the ice immediately or place in your own freezer. It makes it quick enough that I make enough ice for my drink every time I want to use it.

Shown as advertised. Bought for my daughters dorm room and we have already started using it at home. It's fairly quiet and the only time it may startle you with noise is when the ice drops or when you're almost out of water (which they say will happen in the manual). I'll review this review if there's any issues after a year at the dorms! Great buy for the money so far!

Was worried when few reviews but this works great! Followed cleaning directions and tossed first several rounds of ice and gave it a 2nd cleaning just to be sure good and cleanWorks great, have an ice bin and zip lock bag full of ice in last few hrs very pleased will have ice need for canning season now used large cubes they make quickly taste good and any that melt in bottom just drips back into tank to be recycled

Been amazing so far. (About a year old now.)The sensor for ice over flow went bad pretty fast. NOT A BAD THING TO BE HONEST.We live in a no AC house and it can get pretty hot sometimes. (Good weather tho-)Having the icemaker overflow with ice is a god send. It keeps making more and more and they are pretty big! I love my ice maker. <3 (Overflow as in, the ice is pushing out of the box.)

Works good, smallish water reservoir and equally small icecube basket but works perfectly well as a quick way of getting icecubes for drinks without relying on the main one I. The freezer

It makes ice, and it generally makes it pretty quickly. My only real issue with it is the consistency of the ice. I'm not sure if the machine isn't cold enough to keep the ice completely solid until the basket is full, or if the ice just doesn't get hard enough while being made. Either way, the ice is just too wet for my taste. I like to spend 1 day a week making a bunch of ice so I don't have to worry about it when I'm working long stretches. The problem is that the ice is so wet that when you transfer it from the machine to another container for the freezer, it all sticks together and forms one giant block of ice. I have to use my metal ice tongs to break it apart just to use it, which just causes it to shatter into tiny pieces. I wish there was a way to adjust the temperature inside the machine to make the ice firmer.
