Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - Extended DVD Edition

Delivered in a timely manner. Good movies too, high quality that has stood the test of time. Nowadays it's all CGI and, consequentially, none of it ages very well, or has the same feel. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy came out when there was plenty of demand for costumes and the actors to wear them. Most sets were still being actually built and green screen was employed on the relatively rare occasion to cover up that which couldn't be removed or handled.If you miss that extra care film-making required, the Lord of the Rings is probably the last good example of it happening (outside of several big Nolan movies, of course).

The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring-Extended Version is a wonderful movie. I love the extended scenes which makes the movie even better. I bought this dvd for a friend of mine who also loves the film. It was sold as a "used-good as new" and it was. I needed the dvd for a Christmas present, and it arrived in time to give it, prior to the holiday. The seller helped me to give my friend a wonderful gift. Thank you so much.

Arrived earlier than expected and the product is in good condition with all the extras the Extended versions have. The Fellowship wont play on one of my players, but not sure if it's CD or the player. Two Towers/Return all play fine in both my players, so idk.

This is in really excellent condition. I am very pleased! I finally have the 3rd (although the 1st) installment of the Trilogy.

I bought this to replace mg old version which skips but now I have two copies that skip making it worthless.Utter disappointment.

The added scenes are excellent and deepen th story with more background on the characters. In particular, the relationship between Arwen and Aragorn is expanded upon. The opening scenes in Hobbiton also provide a larger glimpse into the hobbit lifestyle. The special features are also an excellent addition and provide so many cool movie making secrets.

For my husband replacing his list set. He loved them.

Every time I try to play this disc it freezes my PS4, refuses to play and an code pops up. This disc is, for whatever reason, useless.
