Taken bbq sauce to a new level
I'm from Florida & moving with the military, I can't readily get guava anything. I came across this and immediately made my homemade BBQ sauce & my husband fell in love all over again. I'm sure there's many uses and if I can keep a spare block in pantry long enough I might try other things. High recommended. Shipped safely & quickly. Quality is perfect.

Great flavor, just like Porto's!
I was looking for some guava paste to try and make my own guava cheese strudels like from Porto's Bakery. This guava pastry tastes just like the ones they use in the Porto's guava and guava cheese pastries and it tastes delicious as a spread too. I still have some cheese rolls and guava cheese strudels I had bought a few days ago from Porto's so what I do is cut up a slice of the guava paste and spread it inside the cheese roll and toast it up in the toaster oven for a few minutes. Now I have my own guava cheese roll with a more generous amount of guava paste than what you can get at Porto's. So good, yum!The paste is very thick so you will have to cut it with a knife into thin slices. I usually place the cut up slices in a bowl and nuke it for a few seconds to soften them first, then I just spread it on my bagel, toast, or whatever you fancy. I even mixed it with my fresh avocado.Great tasting guava paste. Glad I found this on Amazon. I hope each block (comes in 3 separate blocks of pastes) lasts awhile since I can only eat a little bit at a time. Highly recommend this product.

Perfect flavor if cut with hot water.
Tastes exactly like my childhood memories of ripe, ready to drop guavas in Africa. I cut a package into small cubes and combine with 3/4 cup of water in a jar. Heat in microwave until it starts to bubble, let it heat soak for a few minutes, then blend into a smooth paste with a table knife. Besides jam, makes a great topping on yogurt, and a lovely snack mixed equal parts with peanut butter. The flavor is much better when thinned out, and has a strong flavor with the perfect grittyness of my memories.
