Good Quality
Very good quality board. It is not very large, so if you are really big or looking for a long board, this is not it. I haven't been on a board in over 20 years and felt very comfortable getting on this board.

Deck was good everything else poopie
The deck is pretty nice, wheels are decent (but small for me) bearings are a lot slower than REDZ, trucks squeak bad. It's good for a little kid. If you're an adult and get it you are going to regret it and buy new bearings and wheels, and eventually trucks (like I am) look at sector nine cruisers and arbor, those are good brands. And look for reviews that say verified purchase, because this brand could of had 20 people just write a good review. Which would be pretty messed up, but they got me!

Top Value, Top Experience
This board is a lot of fun in a small package. There are several other companies that make little cruisers similar to this one, but none of them have the character of this one.Other campus-cruiser type boards are either too complicated or just poor quality. Most features are unnecessary or poorly created on a board like this:It's easy to have too much concave. This doesn't.It's easy to use materials that increase the price without adding to the experience, i.e. cushy padding. This uses tried-and-true grip. It's common for the board to be too thin width-wise in order to have enough control (sidewalks can get sketchy sometimes ;) ). This has just enough without it being too wide. The wheelbase (distance between the front and back trucks) is at that comfy length where you can take some things relatively fast, yet you still have the ability to weave in between pedestrians. Its kick-tail isn't dysfunctional. It works well with the deck; it's snappy and very responsive.Bamboo lasts. This deck is made out of bamboo. Thus, this deck lasts. The wheels and trucks are good, too. Loosening up trucks is always a good idea if you feel like you can't lean as far as you wan't, so don't be afraid to take a wrench to the kingpin bolt.Plus, the setup is designed to last in humidity and straight-up water. Rain, puddles, and the occasional trip to the beach/lake are easy-going for the Grom. Maintenance is greatly reduced because of the water-proofing they do on their products. To top it all off, it comes at a cheaper price than other good campus cruisers it competes with. This should be your first choice in a skateboard if you're looking for something not too expensive, something that will last, handles the weather, feels great under the feet, and looks cool.Granted, with more expensive trucks and wheels, this board would be better. It's not perfect. But for what you get for the price, the value is 5/5.

Grom is great
I got my Jaseboard just about two years ago. The first time I saw the grom I knew it was it. I had been looking for a longboard but a short one by t with the same design and grip as a regular sized longboard. The grom was it, great for beginning and even if you're an expert. Almost everyone I know is able to ride this board because of the flex it has and the size. The wheels are very nice and a little squishy which I LOVE. Also they have never been easier to clean. And the wheels I have are still have all the logo on it and I ride everyday. I LOVE the ceramic in the wheels, since I live in San die I go to the beach and take my board ALOT. It's awesome to have a reliable board to spit sand and water straight out. I have never had speed wobbles on the castle trucks either. They are tough and are easy to work with. I beleive my favorite part is the grip. I HATE boards with the cheap dirty grey grip that's generic. When I saw the clear reliable grip was the very big point to me. My feet have never slipped off of it and if it gets really dirty I just get an old toothbrush and a little bit of water And it cleans right out. The jaseboard grom is a great beginning and expert board and everything in between board. It's reliable, great price, and will last you a while.
