Ok, so the directions say un soaked wood chips and inbetween gas grill burners. I know by experience- no, you soak them. ...so i followed the directions, the box would not fit between the burners - TOO BIG. Lordy and the chips caught fire* I decided to soak them and after 2-3 hours the chips began to work. My roaster chicken turned out perfect with really good bbq smoke flavor. I'd give it a 4 to start and a 8 to end. Worth it to buy if you cant afford 200-400 dollar smoker or like me use along with my gas grill.

The media could not be loaded. Test run before I smoke a brisket this Saturday. Used dry cherry chips. The video is after 30 minutes…pretty much at the end of the chips.

For those wondering if it fits between the heat disperser and the burner on a Traeger Ironwood XL, it does, and it functions flawlessly. Remember to soak your wood chips for at least three hours to achieve an extended smoke time. The flavor is impressive and really gets closer to that authentic stick-burning taste!

Used pellets in the box on a gas grill and they initially caught fire. I am somewhat disappointed with this product.
