Even though it is very expensive toy however it is very fun and great way to teach kids how to hatch. We were all very excited to play with it and learn how to sooth our newborn hatchimal. It is really fun we are in love with even after hatching

YES. All is well. Got the blue one with yellow belly Super cute. So much cuter than I thought it would be. Reminds me of furbys from back in the day just re-born a different way. They will also repeat things you teach them to say which is a fun touch. these things are friggen cute so glad I finally gave in and spent the money to get this ... your kill will love. Hatching took a little longer than expected so be patient. Once that part is over, your kid will love.

What a great surprise! I purchased two Hatchimals for my twin granddaughter's sixth birthday. They were packaged very well, and were very secure in the packaging. The girls had so much fun rubbing their eggs and hearing the Hatcnhimal talk and coo at them during the hatching process. They giggled and laughed the entire time, and the adults were laughing too. The hatching process worked well, and the birds turned all around inside the egg and pecked their way out. We all were in love!! The birds continued to give us much animation with talking and lighting up. I was worried when I saw some earlier reviews, but the Hatchimals exceeded our expectations. They were the hit of the day, and the girls continue to play with them first thing each morning. Great purchase!!

The hatchimal worked as described. It took about an hour for it hatch. My daughter was impatient and eventually just peeled the cracked egg off. The instructions for teaching it are easy to follow but if u have an inpatient child this may not be a good toy.

Why didn't they have toys like this when I was young? I got these Hatchimals for my 6-year-old niece and watching her reaction was worth every penny. The egg begins to shake and pecking sounds can be heard as anticipation builds -- is this a boy (blue) or a girl (pink). (Ours was blue but my forward-thinking niece quickly dubbed it a girl!) The sound effects were awesome and once the "chick" emerges -- with some fanfare -- different colors and sounds reveal if it's hungry, tired, grouchy and so forth. It's a totally amazing toy and a great experience for adults to watch!

I got this for my grandaughter for her birthday.. was not sure about it because of mixed reviews. .. she was really excited when she opened it.. so while she was opening up her presents everyone passed it around and patted it and rubbed it.. then she got it back and it cracked and hatched for her.. it was a lot of fun even for the adults to watch.. it was a huge hit.. and then it sang happy birthday to her when it hatched.. I was surprised it hatched so quickly. but that is what made it so special .. because we all got to enjoy it hatching...

My daughter (5) wanted one of these so bad, so we got it for her for Christmas. The initial excitement of it hatching was a lot of fun and she played with it for a couple days, but lost interest quickly. I think the product itself is fun and cute, but for us I feel it was a waste of money.

Christmas toy that caused turmoil last year. This year, easy to find, still the hot toy, able to give to the little ones would never get one without a little Santa magic. Great price, fast shipping and very happy! My daughter bought them for her senior project she has to complete to graduate. Emily's Elves making crafts and selling them to buy toys for the kids who slip through the cracks and get forgotten. AMAZON YOU ARE AMAZING!

I bought this when it was on sale as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old. It was an impulse buy as it was greatly discounted and I figured it might be entertaining to watch hatch. OMG, it is now February 7th and he's STILL playing with it. When he unwrapped it Christmas morning he lost his mind. He had an 'eggy' to look after. He was even holding it in his lap as he opened his other gifts. (Warning when it starts hatching it is loud!) I thought he had dropped it on the floor. It took about 40-45 minutes of holding it before it started hatching and about 10 minutes to crack out the egg. It was entertaining to watch it hatch, but you REALLY need to pull hard to separate the creature from the base. We were worried we'd break it so we googled how to remove it. Just pull it out. My son named his Berry and tucks it into bed at night and gives it kisses. This is a great toy for a 2 year old. (Provided they've stopped the putting everything in their mouth stage) They are very sturdy toys, my son will carry his around by just the wing sometimes and it still works. It's also fallen off the bed a couple of times onto hardwood floors. We've only had to change the batteries once so far and they're regular AA or AAA batteries. I can't imagine a 5 year old having much fun with this toy after a day or two.

Excelente precio, llego a tiempo y con dos días de anticipación a la fecha de entrega, el producto es original y a un costo mucho menor que en cualquier tienda del país, la compra la realicé en el ciber monday y aún con el envío y los gastos de importación me ahorré aproximadamente el 30%, solo hay tomar en cuenta que por tratarse de productos de importación puede estar aperturado el empaque del propio producto, pero nada que afecte su integridad.

Over priced you. Nothing like a furby like what I thought. But hey if that’s what your kid asks for for a gift . Get it on sale

Hoy lo recibí y es completamente original. Aún no lo hemos abierto pues lo compramos para navidad de manera anticipada pues el año pasado mi hija quería uno pero se agotaron. La verdad están a un súper precio comparados con tiendas. Recomiendo que si tienen pensado comprarlo lo hagan ahora antes de que suban o se agoten.

Yup, it's a Hatchimal. It does what it says it's going to do and the whole family did like to watch it hatch. Our youngest likes to play with this but we quickly taught her how to turn it off, you know to conserve battery life...actually my sanity as the Hatchimal is responsive to play as advertised. Over all a good toy if got on sale which we did.
