What Katie Did 1950s Satin Bullet Bra

My wife and I are big fans of Mad Men. We love the look of all the mid century modern stuff on the show. As a kid I can remember my parents still having a lot of that mid century modern furniture around the house. This bra brings the style of the 50's/60's into your attire. It is really quite sexy, when my wife wears a loose fitting top it looks as if she is not wearing a bra at all. It is not appropriate to wear all the time, i.e., like at the office but sometimes it is perfect!The quality is very good, the stitching is in a circular patter around the breast and causes the breast to squeezed into a long bullet shape. I am sure it is not everyone's taste but I love it.

Be careful when ordering bullet bras ladies; size up up up! I know about sizing differences between modern and "vintage" lingerie and I am usually a 36DD so I ordered the 38F (the band around the body under the bust also isn't strecthy like modern bras, so order up there too!) and it is still a tad too small. I can still squeeze into it, but I only use it for burlesque performances and couldn't wear it under clothing. Other than ordering the wrong size, the bra is beautiful! Great quality and very well made!

The bra is very well constructed with strong stitching and quality fabric. The service and shipping was more than satisfactory. In this case my wife returned the bra on account of the way it fit at tip of the bullet. There is a spiraled stitch from the base of the cup that extends from to near tip and at the end is approx 1" where the fabric isn't spiral stitched and simply covered over. With her breast shape, it simply didn't fit as she desired, as the tip lost some shape when covered by a sweater. It may very well work for someone else's breast shape.

It runs very very small--I love the product but the sizing is really wrong--it's like 1950 sizing. Back then a size 12 is what a size 6 is today.

I love this bra. It's feminine and very nice fitting, but there is no room for a mistake in sizing! Know what you need. Wishing it weren't so very expensive!

Very 50's-60's looking. Fit is perfect, needed a little encouragement to fill the cup. Finally figured it out. Love this bra.

J'ai toujours voulu tester la forme de soutien-gorge pointue et voilà chose faite ! Je trouve que cette forme convient parfaitement à ma poitrine. De plus, pas besoin de porter des habits vintage, ça ne fait pas ridicule avec des habits contemporains. Je suis fan et je pense recommander.
