WeeRide Learn 2 Ride Balance Bike, White, 10-Inch

We bought this for my almost 18 month old. It was still a bit to big for her, so hubby took the seat post out and viola! it fit her perfect. We have now had it about 6 months. She got a few good months out of it before it got cold and then she would ride it occasionally in the basement over the winter. We pulled it back outside last month and she has really gotten the hang of it (she is now 2). She can keep up with her older brother and the neighborhood kids. I really love how light weight it is (even she carries it up hills when she doesn't want to ride it). The little bell got broken fairly quickly, but that wasn't a deal breaker to me. The brake is really for practice. I honestly don't understand why one would put a break on a balance bike but it is what it is. I don't know that she has ever used it. The tires/wheels have held up nicely through rough terrain and it's nice having at least one bike that doesn't always have a popped tire. Overall, we have really loved this bike and would recommend it to anyone. It may take your child awhile to get the hang of it, but once they do they can really take off.

This a real nice bike for the price. I would highly recommend it. It rolls easily without much effort and the handlebars turn smoothly. It took less then 5 minutes to assemble it as it was already put together with the exception of the handlebars. The description says it is for toddlers 18 months and up - we bought it for our grandson who is 21 months old, and it is still just a bit big for him. Her stretches his legs and just barely reaches his "tippy toes", so he can not quite hold the bike up yet. So pop pop has the back breaking job of pushing him around. I think a more accurate description would be 24 months and up. But again, love the bike and he loves to be on it too.

I like this bike except it doesn't seem possible to tighten the handle bars enough to keep them in place without damaging the bar.It makes for a very frustrating time while trying to ride for my son.

Our son is a little too short to ride comfortably, however there do not seem to be any major deficiencies. The only minor complaint I have is that the brake is more of a suggestion than an actual brake. It will stop the tire if it is off the ground, but not once it has weight on it. That being said, since his feet are on the ground anyway, the brake is more of a training item anyway. It does add a little resistance to the wheel but would not save them from a hill. If you plan to use in a hilly area, please be on your guard.

The bike came pretty beat up. Not sure if this was a return prior to shipping to me. Had scratches and small dings all over the frame. It's a tiny little bike. My average size two year old could just touch the ground when sitting on the seat in it's lowest position. Handle brake was a little too much for a toddler to grasp. It's a good size bike for a child closer to 4 or older to be able to handle.

The seat was high for my 2 year old, but I switched a seat from another bike and he was able to reach. Originally the band break was broken but the company replaced it promptly and it was fairly easy to install and adjust.

I have twin grandkids and already had a balance bike so I ordered this one which is almost identical so this was a successful purchase

says 18 months to 4 years....my tall 2 year old is still too short for it. Otherwise great bike.
