Coral Magic Japanese Maple - Beautiful Coral Spring Leaves Light UP The Garden - 1 - Year Tree

I researched Japanese Maples before buying this one online because I was looking for one that stays small so I can keep it in a container as long as possible. The last one I had outgrew the container in about 4 years or so and is now planted in the yard. When I got this new maple, I was a bit disappointed because the description said it was a 3-year old plant. When it arrived, it was a pitiful looking stick about 15-18" tall. I got it during the winter, so I planted it in a pot and have left it indoors for the winter. It has now started putting on an abundance of leaves, so I'm very excited about it. Hopefully, it will get large enough during the spring and summer so that I can plant it in a large outdoor container where I have always grown my Japanese Maples. I'm looking forward to seeing this tree with full foliage.

I read the Q&As and other customer reviews before purchasing this product. I also knew that I was purchasing a plant during the Fall and most plants are dormant and/or will lose their leaves. With that preface, I knew what I was buying and the condition it would arrive and is satisfied with my purchase. My plant came well-packed (as well-packed as you can shipping a plant) and didn't have any noticeable physical damages (broken stems or trunk). The plant itself was about 2' tall from the base, and had two main branches extending from where the scion was grafted to the root stock. They did a great job with the grafting. There were several leaves, but some of them fell off during shipping and handling (and I expected this). The bark had a hint of coral so that was nice. I just planted it yesterday and so far so good. Time well tell but I am satisfied with my purchase.

Arrival was early. Tree healthy. That's all I can ask for. The color is what attracted me to this little beauty.

I was shocked when my tree arrived in a tall flat box but planted it the next day and it's doing very well. I wish it had more branches but it's quite healthy so it should develop into a nice tree.

This maple arrived in excellent shape, and in a size congruent with it's advertised age. It's planted, staked, and growing very nicely in a Northeast spot with full morning sun. This tree is handling the Atlanta Summer heat very well - planted in ground in the middle of July! It's staked up, and already starting to sprout a bit of length. Looks like it will be beautiful as it grows; probably six feet at ten years.

So far so good I've bought 5 trees so far and they all have died within a week after delivery !! But this one so far is doing good !! Thank you god !!!!! I hope this one makes it. But the way it was packaged was absolutely horrible .

tiny tiny tiny. Will have to let it grow at least a year before I put it outside in the weather. I'm not great with plant; hope it makes it that long
