Installed a pair of these in an older Toshiba Satellite laptop with no problems. Works fine and the sluggishness of the older Toshiba is much improved.

Laptop is faster, but overheats and shuts down. Have to raise the laptop off the desk to use it for prolonged periods. Bummah!

I cant tell if this made my computer faster. Like i have no way to measure the difference from before and after. But it makes me feel better and that's all that matters. ( ;
