This is truly an outstanding addition to my 5.1 home-theater system. The construction is first-rate, the sound is phenomenal, and the remote control is an outstanding addition. DTS and Dolby decoding of Blu-ray and DVD discs is of the highest quality and it will also decode files via the USB input. The video output allows you to setup the unit with included test tones as well as access the menu items. For the price, this is a must-have addition to any A/V system that does not have surround-sound capability. This is one of the most satisfying audio purchases I have ever made.

If you want your room to “purr” at night and add broken glass tinkles and beeps to quiet parts of your audio, this is a great choice. Otherwise use a standard receiver like normal people.

Worked fine. But my key complain was that the output voltage seemed too low. I had to turn the volume of my amplifier much higher to makeup. Not sure if this was the design of the product. But returned it.

It stopped working after 1 1/2 months.

Great product. Just a touch low in gain but what I had before may have been to high.

Works perfectly and helped me not to throw out my RCA-input 5.1 system. Delivers audio perfectly by each channel, very powerful and distortion free. Just enjoy!

I received a very different product- ViewHD HDMI Audio Extractor with 5.1CH Decoder + Audio EDID Setting + TOSLINK + 5.1CH RCA Analog + 3.5mm Headphone Outputs | VHD-H2HADi.

Worked good for a day then unit would not power on. I checked the power adapter and it tested fine. Returned unit and did not purchase again.
