NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUPSharpener

Thanks to Asia's review that said it sharpens pencils with plastic outer coverings! I ordered based on that review and am so glad I did! I bought several sharpeners that did not but this one DEFINITELY does! I use it on my Shany pencils. Even the sharpener sold by Shany doesn't work on their own products. This sharpener works great on all my eye liners & eye shadow pencils. Definitely recommend!

I recently purchased an almost identical sharpener at CVS. It was the 360 brand and looked sturdy in packaging and had both size sharpeners which I need. It was a nightmare from the start. After it ravaged a high end lip liner and eyeliner... I only used it if absolutely no other choice and if it was an affordable product. After 2 weeks.. I couldn't use it on any product... The clear lid wouldn't stay in place even when you tried to hold it so items were being sharpened unevenly and /"or breaking. And the product buildup inside on the blades was IMPOSSIBLE to clean. I tried cotton rounds soaked in Miscellar water or makeup Remover, as well as qtips, and even resorted to soaking it in Miscellar water. Worse purchase in a long time. This sharpener is the absolute opposite in all ways. Easily and quickly sharpens liners to a fine , sharp point. Clear lid and bottom don't budge and click easily back in place after emptying and cleaning which is so quick and easy. Whatever the cotton round doesn't get.. A qtip easily does. NYX never disappoints!

All sharpeners I've gotten in the past (no brand cheapies) always let me down and eat up my pencils. Still, I don't know why I refuse to get a good one like MAc or something. I guess I just feel that one really shouldn't have to pay that much for a plastic sharpener.One night, I saw a mention of this sharpener when I was watching make-up tutorials online and came to Amazon to check it out. This one had high reviews and low price so I ordered one.WOW! I was surprised. This worked great. I popped in my brow pencil into the small side and with a few twists, it was perfect and ready to go. No eating up the pencil. Color didn't stick to the blades. I thought this was a fluke especially since brow pencils are usually harder and dryer. So then I put in a big fat soft khol pencil into the large side. It came out great and the tip was crisp and clean.I couldn't believehow well this worked for how much I paid. I will definitely buy this again when I need a replacement. Excellent!

I bought this sharpener specifically to sharpen my eye pencil from 100% Pure and it works just like it was made for it! The CS rep at 100% Pure had told me a Sephora dual sharpener would work, but I got this one for cheaper, and it is PERFECT. The small opening on it fits the pencil exactly, and it sharpens without a hitch, to a nice and neat, precise point. No waste and no smearing, and I love that it has the cover to catch the pencil shavings. I can sharpen my eyeliner wherever I am instead of having to stand over a trash can. Best eyeliner sharpener I've ever owned.This has nothing to do with the sharpener itself, but I will say that I was disappointed with the shipping--it didn't come in any kind of packaging or protective bag or anything. The Amazon packer just threw it in the box with the other things in my order and it arrived with the cover broken in pieces. I had to return it, and the replacement came in a shipping bag by itself, and was fine. But just know this going forward. I am grateful that Amazon at least has great customer service when it comes to replacements.All in all, my experience has been fantastic. Love this sharpener!

It sharpens my soft Maybelline eyeliner to a very fine point. Very pleased. Only disappointment is it didn't come with the cap so I have to use it over the garage can.

Sooo easy to use. Small but durable. Very sharp. It sharpens plastic. Love it. Get my lip pencils where it needs to be. 😭😭

I spent forever throwing away my NYX jumbo white liners because I couldn't find a sharpener the right size for them. This one works perfectly though! Also amazing for NYX lip liners and eye pencils as well!
