Simple gadget and easy to use. Happy with purchase.I leave it in for 2-3 days, don't rush stretching or over tighten. I'll get it stretching somewhat tight, then let it sit overnight and then after it stretches pants out a bit go tighten it a little more, repeat a few times til you hopefully get desired stretch. Or you could just lose weight, LOL.

Bought this to stretch out some jean shorts. I like the fit of a size 32 with the exception of the waist, and I find a size 34 too baggy and loose in the waist. And they don't make a size 33....so what to do? Stretch the 32's! Now before I started I put a small amount of grease on the threads of the rods, as some have reported stripping threads. Why the center turnbuckle wasn't made of steel instead of aluminum is mind-boggling......but it is what it is. Next I thoroughly sprayed the waist of the shorts, both inside and out, with water from a spray bottle....put a "C" clamp right next to the button to keep the buttonhole from getting stretched and not the jeans, and installed the stretcher and set them in the sun to dry. Because denim is a tough material I'd go out and give it another half turn every half hour or so, because you can't tell how far you're stretching something while the process is going on and the material does relax. I left them to dry overnight and tried them on this morning.......and they're a tiny bit overstretched! That's why I say it can work almost too good. But shrinking them down a bit is easy, so no problem. With more fragile materials I'd be a bit careful when stretching, as you won't know you've gone too far until you hear something rip or tear. Use common sense and you'll be fine. I obviously can't speak to long term durability, but seeing how it's made I can now make my own beefier version if need be, and fix the aluminum turnbuckle mistake as well. But......it did what it claimed to do, was easy to use, and I'm a happy camper! So far.

It works, I like it but I wish I could close it smaller, sometimes I'm a little afraid I'm going to rip my clothes trying to get it around this. Good idea tho

The device looks well built. It is made of wood, and the turn buckles are steel. The biggest issue is that the bolts that are used to expand or retract the size are stripped or the threads are smashed and don't screw into each other. My first order was a complete loss, and so I ordered a replacement. The second one arrived, and the threads were also messed up on the turn buckle piece. Using parts from the first unit, I was able to get one working model. I think their quality control needs to step it up and make sure the partsall mate before shipping the product to the customer.

They have made something that should be so easy to use unusable. It is meant to just screw out to make a waist size bigger but when i do that it loosens .Instead of making it two peace's they made it four.

Everything arrived in a box with insurances. I've got 4 pair of Wranglers, made in same location, 2 fix perfect, 2 are tight. Maybe this will fix the problem.

This is my new favorite Amazon purchase! I wish I had known about this sooner! I am a size 0 in clothes but have a large chest 32DD and often have issues with sizing as the chest will be too tight in dresses, bodysuits, and jumpsuits. I purchased an adorable jumpsuit in a zero online and thought I would have to return it because I literally couldn’t zip the top all the way up. The bust measurements were tiny! 26.5” and the waist stretcher worked perfectly even though it says the minimum is 31”; it will work for even smaller items if you insert it at an angle. The jumpsuit bust was expanded by at least 3-4”; so I could comfortably breath and not look like a sausage stuffed into a casing. My jumpsuit was also very sturdy double layered metal corseted construction with an elastic band at the top and side zip. I have had several bridesmaids dresses in the past where this would have been a lifesaver. I am so excited to have found this as it will really expand my wardrobe options in the future without the need for expensive alterations! This is a great buy for busty girls everywhere.
