Easy installation and perfect fix. Anyone can DIY this
Works like a charm. Replaced a tub spout that cost 5x as much as this and had failed in less than 5 years by not diverting water properly to the showerhead. Very simple design. Do ensure you need a slip on spout. You need 1.5 to 2.5 inches of copper pipe stub from the face of the tile for this so you have a decent margin. Anyone can replace this with basic tools in 5 minutes.

Easy Installation
My old spouts diverter was almost impossible to pull up to get a shower which led me to buy this.I unscrewed the old tub spout with an allen wrench and slid this one and tightened it up. So far, no leaks and the diverter works great. It took less than 5 minutes to install.Will update if things change.

Looks nice, durable-seeming construction, installed onto a slip-on copper pipe very easily and secured WITH A HEX KEY easily and firmly. That "hex key" bit is in caps because it's very important. A conventional screw is an extremely dumb design for an item like this (because you can't get a straight shot at it from underneath). There is another manufacturer that shall be nameless (<*cough*Danco*cough*>) that actually uses a Philips-head screw to secure the adapter. But this one doesn't.The diverter works fine and there is no leakage. (Be 100% sure you sand down your copper pipe before installation, as even a tiny little burr can wreck your O-ring and cause wall damage. Do not skimp on this step!)I'm only giving it four stars because the water comes out a little sloppy. This is still very much good value for money! If you want a nice, pretty, smooth stream of water coming out of the fixture, you're going to want to blow $50 or more on a higher-level Moen or equivalent. If you want an inexpensive tub spout that gets the job done, this is your product.
