it was going to be an 18th birthday present but it had a poor finish and no instructions

Beautiful box but quality isn't there.
It's a beautiful looking box and the puzzle side of it is tight and not loose which you expect it to be. First the keys to unlock the box are cheap and feel like you will bend them when unlocking the box. But once open there is a removable mirror which is not held in well. It reveals another hiding place but all it is is a hollw lid so what ever you put in there is gonna be hard to get back out. But apert from that it looks good.
