AmeriColor, Electric Pink, 75 Ounce Bottle, Soft Gel Paste Food Color

This is the most gorgeous bright pink. If you’re looking for a soft pastel pink, you will not get that shade with this color. The smallest drop makes a bright, vibrant pink.

Accomplished the lower cake with just a toothpick touch or two of the gel color.

I received my Electric Pink dye in a very short time. I ordered it to use for a wedding where I would add color to water for the vases of the centerpieces. The bride was using fuscia/hot pink with sunbeam yellow, and I was careful to select a dye color that would render the right pink hue.To be on the safe side, in addition to ordering this dye, I also acquired other pink dyes I found at Walmart and other stores nearby. But of them all, this dye rendered the perfect hue of pink I needed. It started out a little bad for me though as I mixed too much dye into the water and got an almost red color, but I soon found out that the less dye I used, the closer to the color I would get, and the more I used it would get to a red coloring stage.I would have given it 5 stars, but I took away a star for the fact that the dye took a little working to dissolve the paste properly in the water. It came out of the bottle a little clumpy and while dissolving it would break into smaller clumps of gels and really took a little while to properly dissolve away completely. Someone said it may dissolve better in warm water but I did not have the time to try that and do not know how true that is.All in all though, I did get the perfect electric color I wanted to achieve using the proper amount of water. I would highly recommend this dye.

Tiny amount in the bottle for the price, but for my hard candy recipe, this amount would suffice for several batches. Color was vibrant, in the pic looks a bit more red due to the color of the molds, but “electric pink” is an accurate description of the color.

I really liked how vibrant the color turned out with just a small drop. I used it on buttercream icing and it was stunning! I don't think I'll go back to Wilton which is what I've been using for a really long time.With Wilton I noticed the color develops with time, however with this one I was able to get the perfect color immediately.Love it! love it! love it!It's a rather small bottle (small glue stick for comparison) but with the small amount needed you'll be sure to get alot of uses from it.
