I was having trouble with my Ford Explorer—it would stutter when trying to start, which was a real concern. After some research and advice, I decided to try this part, and it’s been a game-changer! Perfect fit for my 2013 F150 V6 (NON-Turbo). Made my check engine light go away. I had code P0456 when I scanned it with my OBD2 reader. “Evaporative Emissions System - Very Small Leak” This code usually gets triggered by a bad gas cap or a bad solenoid in the purge canister valve. Well my F150 model doesn’t have a gas cap, so I took a shot on the purge canister valve and it solved the problem. Easy install. 2 bolts removed with an 8mm socket and one electrical connector and it is changed.
