A great natural diuretic
Years ago I was prescribed a water pill/diuretic for my high blood pressure. Since then I lost weight and my health and blood pressure was great. Recently I was prescribed prednisone for arthritis inflammation and a side effect of high blood pressure followed. The doctor then prescribed a blood pressure medication and another side effect occurred. I remembered the Alfalpha from years ago and tried it again. I was surprised at how much fluid retention I had. I think I lost 10 lbs in 1 week. The only thing is you have to keep drinking lots of water and make sure your electrolytes are replenished with supplements if necessary.

OKAY
Alfalfa is really good but it does have an unpleasant whiff and taste, I had to add lavender pellets into the bottle with the tablets.

Pregnancy and postpartum
Used this Alfalfa brand during my prenatal months. Recommended by my midwives! No smell at all. Skinny pill so it’s easy to swallow. I still take it as a supplement postpartum to support lactation/milk supply. Cost is definitely reasonable compared to my other supplements. I’ll be a returning consumer!

BEING A CAPSULE INSTEAD OF A TABLET'S MUCH EASIER TO SWALLOW

Alfalfa
I purchased the capsule rather than the tablet because the tablet I had to let dissolve a little before swallowing. The capsule goes down easier. I started taking this because there is an elderly lady, in her 90's that has taken alfalfa for over 40 years and she has extreme arthritis. This is the only thing she takes for arthritis and she said that she does not hurt at all, so I have started taking alfalfa for the same reason and hope someday that my arthritis doesn't hurt.
