I bought this after having stomach surgery. Brilliant support and really helps keep the swelling down.Comfortable to wear with great support to the back.I wear it a little lower for extra support to the hips and also to reduce swelling.I would however size down as I'm now going to have to purchase a size smaller due to it reducing the swelling so much.Great product

I bought this after a doctor recommended an after pregnancy belt. I have an umbilical hernia and secere diastasis recti. I am 12 post partum and awaiting surgery for the hernia. I can't do any exercise to resolve the muscle separation until that is done and in the meantime, my stomach was so tender and uncomfortable. I've been wearing the belt for less than a week and it has already helped improve the muscle separation. I had no expectation of this helping as it's been uncomfortable for so long but this really has helped. I've just ordered a second one so I don't have to wait for it to dry after washing. It looks big and uncomfortable but it is actually very comfortable to wear. I measured myself and my stomach at its largest point was 101cm and the medium only goes up to 101cm. I took a chance and ordered that anyway and when I put it on I had no room at all and was worries I got the wrong size. My stomach has reduced in size after wearing it and I now have extra room so it worked out ok. Definitely recommend this product.

i'm 3 months postpartum from an emergency csection, and i'd already tried a maternity support belt before but because it was two separate layers i was always boiling in it and it was a hassle.breathability wise, this is great. it's comfy, & has support in the back.however, i'm not sure if it's because my waist is naturally smaller but it keeps sliding like in the pic & cutting into my waist. it also pushes up the fat on my chest so it looks worse than without the binder, but i think that's it trying to distribute the pressure.i was a size 6/8 before pregnancy; 26" waist & 33" hips. now i'm a 16/18 on the bottom, but a 10/12 on top; 32" waist & 42" hip.i bought the band pretty much to just pull in that wonderful csection tummy, so i'll give it a try & update in a month's time.

DO NOT BUY !Fell apart after 3 weeks , velcro does not adhere , material looses elasticity and rips as there is now a big hole !Pinches the hips until it's sore , worst of all the material gave me a nasty ITCHY rash that spreads under my breasts and onto my back ,bought this for Abdominoplasty recovery .Now the question is , Why does Amazon allow this product to be sold with all these bad reviews ???DO NOT BUY ! Great product. Bought for postpartum reasons. Felt very weak after my first child so made sure I purchased something for my second delivery. Very happy I did as I wore the product second day after labour. It's very comfortable and provides amazing support. I am able to strengthen & heal my core muscles as it provides me with great stability. I have also noticed that my stomach is completly flat 3 days postpartum. I believe this is due to the band helping my uterus to contract faster. I consulted my doctor regarding the product before using & got the all clear. I bought in a size M as I'm a UK size 10 and it fits perfectly. M would also fit a UK size 12.
