Great strings with bright tonesFirst time I’ve used this set but will use again and again!

I wanted to switch to coated strings, as having multiple guitars it felt like standard ones didn't last very long before they were dull, meaning I just always had a couple feeling lifeless and rubbery.Switching to these has made a huge improvement. They sound and feel great and are very durable too. I've been using XTs on everything for a few years now and I don't know if I've ever broken one whilst playing.I comfortably get 3 months out of each set with them still sounding good. Unless someone can point me to something which can sound good for longer, I don't know how these can be beaten.

Bought a couple of months ago and have just changed.I believe these are some of the best sounding strings I have put on my Gibson Les Paul Standard, the have a nice balanced sound and feel great under the fingers.I have however found the so called coating to not perform nearly as well as the Elixir Optiweb’s I have previously used. They lasted me a good 8 weeks but now after probably a good 50hrs playtime they are very rusty just like you find with the EXL’s.They definitely last longer then the normal strings but I think I will switch back to Elixirs as for me they are unmatched in terms of life, I can get a good 4 months out of those!These are great however if you want a great sounding and feeling string that lasts twice as long as your average string.

Night and day compared to the Ernie Ball strings which are awesome if you want mellow. These are bright and loud.

These strings are great. They are just what I need for lots of tapping and playing heavier bass notes. Also if you use a Floyd rose or tremolo these are the best in my opinion. They have coating that keeps the bright tone, and won't go out of tune as much when you use your tremolo arm or Floyd rose.

Can't go wrong with these strings. Fair price.
