I usually watch for when the price of this is below $10, it's a great deal and if you like pudding this is a great choice.

I bought these because I have to eat more nuts to lower cholesterol. This is the only way for me to eat walnuts and chia seeds. Soak 2 TBS of chia seeds in 1/4 cup water. I use 1 package of instant pistachio pudding, 1 large can of crushed pineapple with juice, 1/2 container fat free cool whip, an 8oz bag of chopped walnuts. It's a healthier version of Watergate salad. No marshmallows needed. It's sweet enough and a healthy 1/4 to 1/2 cup dessert at night. I freeze half for the following week.

This pudding is a little harder to mix and get the lumps out of than the obvious industry leader, Jello Instant Pudding. And the flavor is juuust a little less yummy.That doesn't mean this pudding isn't good, though. It is. Really good.These are small boxes, and nice to have stashed away. It comes in a nice little box that can go right in your cupboard. You can use this in recipes, or just to have some pudding when you want something sweet and quick to make. Or maybe use all 12 if you've got a lot of people coming over. Go crazy!At about 75 cents a box, the value is pretty good. That's not a *lot* cheaper than it is in the grocery store, but they bring this pudding right to your door!

We do not eat it enough to buy 12 boxes. But it was not fresh when we got it.. for a recipe...probably throw out last 6 boxes. Never buy a large quantity again.
