Our children have used these sappy cups well beyond their toddler stage. Our youngest at eight, who is a messy eater and drinker, always leaving his seat at the dinner table with crumbs and liquid drops, typically gets his drinks in his sippy cup.Now, my wife has to wear this nightly tooth bracelet that makes it hard to drink from the tap so she for some time had one of the children's plastic hippy cups on her bedside table. The benefit also that this is a lid and that it does not matter much if it gets knocked over in your sleep.Then she found this brushed metal version with purple cover, that looks somewhat aesthetically pleasing and very durable. So she is very pleased with her nightly sips

I intended to use it as a thermo cup, but it doesn’t keep drinks warm for long. Still the cup itself is of a good quality, liquids can be spilled if the cup falls down or baby shakes it intentionally.

Bought this for my mum who has Parkinson’s after my daughter recommended as my grandson has one.My mum is now a convert and uses this flask for hot snd cold drinks. She can now drink un-aided again.

We were liking this cup until the first time my nine month old dropped it from her high chair. Just an FYI it is set to the lowest height and she did not throw it only dropped it. It was a full cup of water and the top was definitely secured properly. When she dropped at the lid came off the cup and water came everywhere including underneath furniture that had to be then moved when my husband came home. When I buy a sippy cup I expect that even if the child throws the cup the lid should stay on securely. A couple of drips would have been acceptable but the entire lid coming off and water going absolutely everywhere defeats the purpose of having sippy cup that is supposed to be spill proof. Definitely not worth the price.

I needed to not gulp post-operatives and the cup has been helpful. The lid is made of lots of small holes so personally I would only use this for water
